SUNBURY — The annual New Year’s Eve Sunbury Celebration truck raffle is sold out. All 600 tickets were sold as of Tuesday and now the wait is underway for the midnight drawing December 31st. Dan Saxton of Sunbury, organizes the raffle and said he was ecstatic that the raffle sold out and he thanked everyone who has been purchasing tickets since summer.
The truck comes from the Sunbury Motor Company, it is a new 2016 Ford F150 XLT Super Crew Cab, four wheel drive, and it’s on display up at Sunbury Motor Company on North Fourth Street in Sunbury.
Proceeds from the raffle benefit Sunbury Celebration four-day event that take place each July, it helps fund the many free events and activities for Valley families, according to Saxton.
