OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) — Baltimore County Police are investigating after reports of an armed person on Stevenson University’s Owings Mills campus.
Stevenson University sent an alert saying there are reports of an “active shooter” on campus.
Baltimore County police say the incident began when two people saw what they thought was a person with a gun. Officers are talking to those two people.
Students and others on campus are told to shelter in place until further notice.
There is no further confirmation of an armed subject or shooting at this time.
