COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) — Students returned to the classroom at Ohio State on Tuesday, less than 24 hours after terror gripped the campus.
That’s when a suspect, now identified as 18-year-old Abdul Razak Ali Artan, crashed his car into a crowd of people, got out of the car and began attacking people with knife.
A police officer arrived on the scene and fatally shot Artan just minutes after the attack began. 11 people were injured, one critically in the attack.
The university made the decision on Monday to resume all classes on the Columbus campus on Tuesday morning as scheduled.
UPDATE: All classes on the Columbus campus will resume normal schedule as of Tuesday, November 29th.

As classes resume for students and faculty,. the university is offering help to those who need it. A post on Ohio State’s Twitter page offered the following options:
For students: Counselors continue to be available through Student Life’s Counseling and Consultation Service. Visit their website for more information. After hours, call 614-292-5766.
For faculty and staff: The Ohio State University Employee Assistance Program has set up special counseling sessions. Call the EAP at 800-678-6265 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or email them at eap@osumc.edu.
The university is also planning a special community event at St. John Arena on Tuesday night at 7 p.m. More details will be released later on Tuesday.
