3 Nov, Easy Compost Making. FREE - open to all. Drop in 2pm - 4pm at the TTW allotment plot no. 1 - the first plot next to a gate 100 hundred yards along the footpath leading off Rectory Rd, directly opposite the Premier shop.

7 Nov, Food Group meet up 7.30pm, hello-food at transitionwivenhoe dot org dot uk

9 Nov, SingWiv performance, 4.15pm in the Library. All welcome. Chris Rowbury leads a workshop from 2pm when we'll learn the songs for singing out.

16 Nov, Farmers' Market, lots of great stalls, Transition Cafe, BBQ and FREE bike checks and tune ups 9am to 12pm at the Congregational Hall, High St.

Plus:Lovers of the Wildlife Garden – we are awaiting delivery of 420 hedge saplings from the Woodland Trust and will be organising a planting weekend later in the month – families very welcome.

Bike Kitchens have finished for this year, watch out for more in 2014. If you want to go on the list to be alerted please let us know.Also, we're looking for a cheap or free garage or other premises to operate bike workshops from so if you can help please get in touch.

Borrowable Bike Bits cargo / kiddie trailers are available from several locations around the town. It's free to sign up to the scheme.

Wivenhoe Library have ENERGY MONITORS you can borrow - get ahead and save £££s this winter. There are a bunch of TTW BOOKS you can loan and a TRACK PUMP you can use while at the library to get your tyres to the correct pressure easy peasy and make winter cycling even easier and safer.
