Laboratory :
The Workshop and Laboratories are well equipped with all necessary infrastructure facilities with latest equipments. The state of the art computer laboratory is a pride of our institution. The institution is Wi-Fi enabled and has high speed internet connectivity of up to 4 MBPS (1:1).
Library:
The fully computerized central library housed in spacious areas has a wonderful collection of reference books and study material. Besides the library also has a magazine and journals section that provide access to some of the leading technical and non-technical journals . Presently the library stacks more than 19,000 volumes and reference books. Digital Library with e-journal access is provided to the students which will enhance their knowledge in the field of research.

2.TECHNICAL ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING:
The Association conducts guest lectures on various topics on a regular basis. Various paper presentation contests, workshop and quiz program are also conducted. Every academic year, the association arranges for education tour and industrial visits to develop the practical knowledge of the students to improvise their skill set.
TECHNICAL ASSOCIATION OF ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING:
In order to develop professional ethics and to build rapport with experienced engineers, the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering has department professional association. In the addition to the regular activities it also conducts guest lectures by eminent professionals, technical visits and seminars, Industrial visits etc.
4. TECHNICAL ASSOCIATION OF MECHANICAL ENGINEERING :
Since the inception of Mechanical Engineering Association, periodical meetings, student’s seminars and guest lecturers have been the regular feature. The association has ambitious plans to include interaction with industries in a broader way, Such as sponsoring students in special seminars and R&D development activates, which will ultimately improve the institution-industry relationship remarkably.
5. SOCIETY OF AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERS(SAE):
The SAE India relies on its sections to stimulate student’s membership & collegiate activates. The key people in this program are the vice chairs of the students activities of individual sections. It’s the responsibility of the collegiate chapter to guide the student’s activity committees at their chapter to fulfill the obligation of the forum.
6. INDIAN SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL EDUCATION (ISTE):
ISTE plays a great role in enhancing the status of engineering teachers and students to fulfill their professional needs. It is ably supported by the ministry of HRD, AICTE, State Government and many international agencies in organizing a variety of programmes to develop the competence of engineering teachers and students. Our college is an Institutional member (IM 1079) and has a student’s chapter (KA 56) as well.
7. COMPUTER SOCIETY OF INDIA (CSI) :
CSI forms a link between the computer related departments of our college and outside industry. Recent development in IT fields is updated through regular seminars, Course orientation program for staff are conducted through this chapter. It as about 1000 students who study computer related courses and are provided with maximum opportunities and are channelized to their fields of interest.

8. ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT CELL:
India gets into the entrepreneurial super-highway with increasing number of our students showing signs of interest and enthusiasm in entrepreneurship through our various interests in the entrepreneurship awareness programs. The college has officially established the most awaited entrepreneurship development cell this year(2011-2012) . This cell focuses on guiding the students to become entrepreneurs and to create an employer culture. Instead of “JOB Seekers”-students are trained to become “Job Providers” through technology interventions.
The Entrepreneurship development cell aim to enable our students to generate income through business activities and empower them by skill development training and awareness-building programs. This encourages students to be their own Bosses.
9. NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS):
The NSS unit of our college helps students to understand social obligations. The NSS unit organizes blood donations camps ,and 10 days special camps at nearby villages. It organizes Health Awareness Program and planting of saplings in the college premises for a better environment.
SAMSKRUTHI- THE CULTURAL CLUB :
Our College Mates enthusiastically arrange and participate in various cultural and fine arts competitions.
Our College mates regularly bag various trophies, medals and prizes in several competitions.
INDUSTRY INSTITUTE PARTNERSHIP CELL :
IIPC forms important activities for any academic institute as its stakeholders interact with the real world. Firstly, the students are benefited due to exposure to current industry practices,updation is possible as and when changes occur in technology, teaching faculty gets sensitized to the latest practices leading them to blend practice with usual theoretical technical methods. Industry and Technical institution have a strong mutuality of interest which forms the basis of a partnership between them to bridge the gap between the institution and industry
IIP CELL aims at effective, frequent and mutually beneficial interactions with industry and establishing and exploring links with industries for the development of the institute.

12.COUNSELLING :
A group of students is assigned to a mentor where special attention is given to slow learners. The mentor shall give appropriate methods to improve the performance of such students and shall record their observations and remarks after IA tests. The concerned department through mentor will analyze the student performance subject wise.HOD shall monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Whenever counseling is held the student should attend the same with parents.
13. ALUMNI ASSOCIATION :
Our Alumni Association is functioning effectively from the past six years & striving to bring all the Alumni together under the roof of the association.
The Alumni Association organizes an Alumni meet “ SAVINENAPU” Memories never fade. On every first Sunday of September.
We also invite interested Alumni to the college to share their experience with the current batch of students through IGNITE program which is mainly intended to guide and inspire the current batch of students.
With the help of the Alumni, The association has established a library to help the needy students by book donation from the alumni.
The Alumni association recognizes & indentifies him/her one out standing Alumni every year and honors, suitably.

1. DATAQUEST magazine in ALL INDIA SURVEY Acknowledged and ranked our Sri Sairam college of engineering in 8th place in Bangalore, 13th place in Karnataka and 103rd place in India.
2. In Higher Education Review Our College has ranked in top 10 among all private Engineering college in Bangalore city and Karnataka region, also made into the Top 50 Private Engineering Colleges in India.
3.VTU Inter collegiate south zone Kabbadi Tournament organized at RV College, Bangalore on 8th and 9th April 2014.In this competition our college was the winner.
4. The state level Sai Leo Trophy Inter collegiate kabbadi tournament held at SSEC on 5th and 6th April 2014. In this competition our college is the Runner’s Up.
5. VTU single zonal inter collegiate best physique competition held at SDMIT ujire on 18th to 20th October 2012, Mahendra Kumar.M 4th SEM Mechanical, Secured II place.
4. Ms. Sachitha of CSE Department of our college secured 3rd rank in Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum , Karnataka.
6. Our final year Mechanical Students have designed the next generation, zero emission,eco friendly, high efficient four wheeler HYBRID AIR COMPRESSOR CAR which reduces the fuel consumption, air pollution & in turn increases the efficiency of the vehicle secured 2nd prize in all over Karnataka & drawled attention from various sources like print media & TV channels.
7. Our College students from EEE,MECH and CS department respectively secured all Gold, silver and bronze medals in GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP SUMMIT (GES-2014) held at Clarks Exotica Resorts by presenting a unique entrepreneur paper presentation ideas.
8. Spark Lab Engineering system Pvt.Ltd in association with IIT Guwahati has announced that Sri Sairam college of engineering college as the zonal winner for the Robotics Championship “TECHNOSIA-2014”.
