LomiLomi - 7 Skin Scheduler Mask - Acerola (Friday) Recovering Mask
Questa maschera fa parte di un pacchetto di 7 maschere (una per ogni giorno) di Lomi Lomi. Sono una fan dei trattamenti in maschera di Mamonde, le 7 days mask pack, quindi spero che questa maschera sia efficace. Ovviamente io ho provato solo questa, quindi una su sette, ed è la maschera all'acerola. Principalmente formulata per pelli grasse ed impure, questa maschera è fatta per salvarci la pelle dopo una settimana stressante, difatti è quella del Venerdì.
Partendo dalla forma della maschera: questa è davvero una delle peggiori che io abbia mai provato, il tessuto era davvero di qualità pessima, tagliato male. Troppo ricca di essence: quest'ultima non colava, nonostante la maschera ne fosse imbevuta tantissimo, perchè era un'essence fin troppo densa. Avevo messo la maschera in frigo prima dell'applicazione (è pur sempre estate xD), ma addosso non ha avuto nessun effetto rinfrescante, è stato come non avercela messa. Anche dopo quaranta minuti, l'essence non si era assorbita: è davvero davvero troppo pesante! Difatti ad un certo punto l'ho tolta e l'ho usata come crema per il corpo, e la maschera era ancora talmente imbevuta che sono riuscita ad applicarla su braccia e gambe; anche nella confezione ne era rimasta ancora. La maschera ha anche dei pezzettini di tessuto per gli occhi, quindi si presuppone che la maschera vada anche sugli occhi, no? Peccato che l'essence bruciasse e mi fosse entrata negli occhi, anche se non li tenevo aperti... è MAGIA. Comunque, comprendo che, essendo una "recovery mask", debba essere molto nutritiva...Ma per la mia pelle delicata e la mia poca tolleranza per le cose pesanti, lo era fin troppo. Non ho avuto nessuna reazione allergica, anzi, la maschera funziona abbastanza, lasciando la pelle abbastaza idratata (ma non penetra a fondo), attenua linee di disidratazione e così via, ma...vale la pena acquistarla? Per me, visto l'esperienza, è no. Inoltre, la mia pelle ha davvero fatto fatica ad assorbirla ed è rimasta appiccicosa a lungo dopo che me la sono tolta...Non capisco come possa essere adatta alle pelli grasse!
This mask is part of a 7 days mask project (where you have to use one of them each day ) from Lomi Lomi. I am a fan of the 7days treatment masks from Mamonde,so I really hoped this was going to be a nice one too. Obviously I only tried this out of the 7, and this is the Acerola Recovering Mask, the one you're supposed to use on friday. Specifically made for impure and oily skins, this mask should restore your skin after astressful week.
Starting from the mask's fabric and shape: this is one of the worst mask I've ever tried. It was cut really badly, and the fabric was really cheap quality. I guess you can see it from my picture. It was really soaked in the essence/serum, and luckily (?) it didn't start to drip all over my clothes, probably because the essence was super dense.
I put this mask in the fridge (it's still summer), but when I wore it, it wasn't refreshing at all-- it was just like when you put a warming face mask on your face, instead. After more than 40 minutes, the mask wasn't dried, not even a little bit! I decided to take it off, and I used it for my body. The sheet mask was still so full of that thick essence that I had to spread the remnants on my legs and arms and body. The mask has some piece of fabric for the eyes too, but they were cutso badly that when I tried to put them on my lids, all the essence entered in my eyes and it burned so badly that I had to take them off and wash my eyes two-three times. How could all that liquidi enter in my eyes, if I kept them close? It's MAGIC.
Anyway, I understand that a recovery mask should be very nutritive, but...this was so thick and heavy that I couldn't bother keep it on. I admit that it's effective enough not to be a complete fail, the skin is enough moisturized, and I didn't have any allergic reactions but........would I ever spend money to buy this? No, I don't think so, the experience with it was awful and, on a side note, Idon't understand how could this mask be suited to oily skins.
Luke - Mugwort Nose Cleansing Strip
Non è che ci sia da dire molto: sono cerottini per punti neri. Purtroppo questi non sono per pelli sensibili, ma me li sono fatti andare bene comunque. Come per tutti i cerottini per punti neri, prima si bagna il naso (preferibilmente con acqua calda) e poi si applica la parte appiccicosa sulla pelle. Una volta asciutto il cerotto, si tira via.
Sicuramente posso dire che il cerottino ha fatto un buon lavoro, ha tolto punti neri che non avrei neanche notato. Ha fatto un lavoro molto meno notevole con i filamenti sebacei. La cosa negativa è che, a parte lasciare un bel po' di residui da lavare via, è poco delicato sulla mia pelle sensibile. Non me ne stupisco, visto che le indicazioni lo dicevano... Comunque, l'irritazione ed il naso rosso sono presto spariti, quindi no problem. Ovviamente ricordo che questi cerottini (che non sono a 3 passaggi) vanno obbligatoriamente seguiti da un toner astringente!
There isn't a lot to say: this is a blackhead nose strip. Sadly, I didn't receive the ones for sensitive skins, but I used this anyway! As for every nose strip, you have to wet your nose with warm water first (to open up the pore and let the strip adhere to the skin), and then put on the strip from the sticky side. When it's dry, you can peel it off and admire the gunk on your strip, yay!
I can surely say that the strip made a good job, and pull off some blackheads (not sebaceous filaments, sadly) that I didn't know I had. The negative side is that this strip was a little bit too harsh on my sensitive skin. I'm not surprised, considering that there was a warning on their site! But...Irritations and red skin soon went away to leave my skin normal and cleaner. Obviously those are not a 3 step blackhead nose strip, so you'll need warm water before applying it, and then and astringent toner to clean residues and "close" the pores.
Mirum - Fresh Juice Cucumber Real Natural Mask Pack
Il cetriolo è ormai riconosciuto per essere un ingrediente idratante, e capace di rilassare/calmare la pelle (ricordate i cetrioli sugli occhi nei film americani?! xD), insieme ad avere, nella maggior parte dei casi, un effetto rinfrescante. Consigliata a chi ha pelle secca, con problemi, o delicata. In primis, questa è una maschera estremamente rinfrescante, anche senza metterla in frigo. E' aggiustabile, il che mi ha permesso di sistemarmela ben bene, ed è piena di essence, ma non tanta da farla colare. confortevole, fresca, dal buon profumo, questa maschera mi ha lasciato il viso visibilmente idratato. Ha calmato i rossori e alleviato i brufoli e le irritazioni, ed ha anche aiutato un po' con i pori dilatati...E' stata una scoperta!
Cucumber is really famous for his moisturizing properties and because it's really able to calm and soothe the skin (Do you remember how girls in the american movies put cucumbers slices on their eyes?! xD I do!), and the majority of the skincare products with cucumber extract are usually very refreshing too! This is suggested to people with delicate, sensitive, troubled and dry skins.
In primis, I found this mask really refreshing, even if I didn't put it in the fridge. It's really adjustable, and I could cover all my face with it. It's full of delicious essence, but you can feel that it's not "too much" so it won't drip everywhere. Comfy, fresh, with a nice smell: this mask left my skin super moisturized. It soothed my red skin, and soothed my angry pimples, and since it had a some kind of cooling effect, it also helped to reduce the appearance of my pores. I really liked it, and this would be a mask I would totally purchase again!
SOC - Natural Cutie Mask Pack - Whitening Aqua Panda
Con Mineral Alpine Ice Water (nome cardinalizio per chiamare l'acqua frizzante ) e Acido Ialuronico, questa carinissima maschera con un panda raffigurato sul tessuto serve a illuminare ed idratare la pelle. Diciamocelo, la carineria è il motivo principale per cui uno la andrebbe a comprare, no? La cosa più fastidiosa credo sia il fatto che è troppo imbevuta di essence. Io non ho nulla contro l'essence in più, se rimane nella bustina; ma, se la maschera è talmente piena che mi scivola e mi gocciola sui vestiti, allora mi innervosico. Questa gocciola ovunque.
E' davvero super illuminante, anche se non ha nessuna azione anti-rossore; la pelle è fresca, rimpolpata, luminosa e idratata. Anche se la pelle resta molto appiccicosa, non credo sia un problema per molte di noi. Non va bene per pelli molto sensibili e con acne, perchè a me ha dato fastidio sui brufoletti, lasciandoli arrossati. Contiene Adenosina, che irrita abbastanza. La consiglio a chi vuole un effetto rivitalizzante immediato, senza rinunciare ad indossare una maschera carina!
With Mineral Alpine Water and hyaluronic acid, this cute mask with a Panda printed on the fabric is meant to be moisturizing and brightening. Let's just say it: the cute packaging would probably be one of the main reasons why you'd buy this mask. The only con I found in the mask fitting phase is that the sheet is full of dripping essence. I don't really minde the excess of essence in a mask , unless the mask is too saturated and the liquid starts to drip everywhere...just like in this case.
It's super brightening, but there isn't anti anti-redness (or whitening) effect, from what I've seen; it leaves the skin fresh, plumped and bright. Even if it leaves the skin really sticky, I don't think it's a huge problem for the majority of us. It's definitely not suited for sensitive skins or acne skins, because it bothered my pimples, making them red. It contains Adenosine, which usually irritates my delicate skin. I really suggest this mask for a brightening effect that makes you look healthier and lumiunous...or for a fun pamper session with this cute mask!
Ben&Sera - 15 Days Anti Wrinkle TaengTaeng Project Serum
Questa siringa è un trattamento antirughe a base di adenosina, quindi consigliato a persone che abbiano più di 40 anni (non me, di certo xD)...ma ne ho provata un po' per darvi le mie prime impressioni. La confezione è strana e poco pratica, perchè è semplicissimo premere troppo e far uscire tutto il trattamento, ma in realtà una sola goccia basta per tutto il viso, quindi è meglio non sprecarlo. E' raccomandato per chi vuole un trattamento semplice e veloce per idratare, combattere le macchie, nutrire la pelle e eliminare le rughe. Non è consigliato alle pelli giovani.
Ovviamente io, per quanto sia stata attenta, ho fatto partire mezzo prodotto fuori dalla siringa...Mi è partito un embolo, anche perchè tutti sanno che sono sempre molto attenta, quindi mi è venuto davvero un nervoso assurdo. E' troppo difficile, veramente il packaging meriterebbe zero spaccato! All'interno il prodotto è un gel trasparente fresco, molto liquido e molto appiccicoso. Anche se si assorbe subito, resta abbastanza appiccicosetto per una decina di minuti. Non posso dire che io abbia notato alcuno sbiancamento in questi sette giorni; è vero che è un trattamento d'urto, ma gli schiarenti funzionano sul lungo andare, ed io non posso dire nulla a riguardo. Ho notato un leggero miglioramento nelle rughe d'espressione, e sono piacevolmente rimasta sorpresa dal fatto che non mi abbia irritato la pelle. Direi che usato a lungo, potrebbe fare grandi cose. Consigliato ANCHE a ci ha pelli super delicate e sensibili, e soprattutto a chi non ama antirughe pesanti. Peccato per il packaging...
This siringe is an anti-wrinkle and whitening treatment with adenosine, so it's something that I really suggest to people with more than 40 years old (not me xD)...But I tried it for a while to give you my impressions on it. The packaging is strange and really not practical, because it's really easy to push out too much product just by using too much pressure....And that means that a lot goes to waste. It's recommended to those people that want aquick and easy to moisturize, fight dark spots, nourish the skin and cure wrinkles. Definitely not for young skins.
Obviously, even if I've been super careful, I pushed too hard...I got crazy because I lost some product, but what could I do?? It's really too hard, the packaging it's really the worst.
The product is a transparent gel , fresh and very runny, it's also very sticky. It absorbs quickly, but it stays sticky for 5-10 minutes. I can't say I've noticed any whitening effect, but I must also say that I haven't used it enough time to say it for sure, because whitening products usually works in a long period of time. I noticed that some of my wrinkles got better, and I was happy to see that it didn't irritate my sensitive skin. Probably this product would be really good, if used for a long time. I suggest this also for sensitive skins, but also to people who don't like heavy creams. I'm still very disappointed by the packaging....
