Mi ci è voluto tantissimo per scrivere di questa bb cream, perchè, ogni volta che ho per le mani qualcosa che mi piace tanto, diventa difficile scrivere tutto e bene senza dimenticare ogni piccolo dettaglio da farvi presente! Però eccomi qui a provare e a cercare di non scrivere un trattato apologetico di dimensioni enormi.

It took me quite a while to review this bb cream, because everytime that I find something that is - in my opinion - amazing, it becomes difficult for me to write everyting, in the right order and don't miss even the tiny little detail that makes the product so special in my eyes.
Ho comprato la Illuminating Supple BB cream tempo fa, in quanto faceva parte della Wishtrend Wishbox dedicata alla Klairs. Poi questo agosto sono stata selezionata per recensire la BB cream ed il nuovo correttore di Klairs - di cui scriverò in un altro post perchè devo ancora testarlo per bene - , ma se il correttore si avvicina anche lontanamente a questa BB cream, già so che lo amerò. Quindi... Iniziamo a parlare di questa BB cream, visto che già ne avevo comprata una per me!
Con già un sacco di fans nella community dei clienti wishtrend, questa bb cream è uno dei prodotti che comparsero fra i prodotti premiati ai Wishtrend Awards.
Questa bb cream è presentata come una mana dal cielo per ogni tipo di pelle, senza irritanti, oil free e con un sottotono neutro/leggermente giallo. Il target principale sono le pelli sensibili (su cui si concentra tutto il brand Klairs). Questa bb cream è formulata per essere abbastanza coprente da nascondere rossori, pori dilatati e punti neri, per essere stratificabile senza essere "effetto maschera" e senza enfatizzare le zone secche della pelle.
Fa tutte queste cose? In breve, sì! Ma lasciate che vi parli nel dettaglio e vi mostri un po' di swatches ;)
I bought the Illuminating Supple BB cream in a whole Klairs set on the Wishtrend site; you saw it on my Klairs Wishbox post. Then in August I was selected to review this bb cream and the new awesome concealer from Klairs -which I will write about in another post because I still am in the process of testing it - , BUT if the concealer is like this BB cream, I'm sure I'll like it a lot. So... yeah, let's start talking about this BB cream.
With tons of fans on the Wishtrend community, this bb cream is one of the best awards 2014 winners. It's supposed to be a yellow tone blemish balm with SPF40 Pa++++ formulated without any irritants (which is the main focus of the brand klairs, whose principal target are people with sensitive/irritated skin.). It promises a natural and radiant complexion, with enough coverage to cover redness and pores, without to emphasize dry patches or look cakey. Does this BB Cream do all of the above? Yes! But let me show you in detail.
La BB cream è contenuta in un semplicissimo tubetto. In tutta onestà mi piace, perchè fa tanto "minimal chic", e io impazzisco per questo genere di cose...Per non parlare del fatto che Klairs è uno dei pochi brands che non scrive le istruzioni in inglese maccheronico.
Descrivere la consistenza di questa bb cream è molto difficile, perchè è in parte come le vecchie BB cream un po' troppo ricche, con le tipiche consistenza di un "balsamo", ma è anche morbida e cremosa, lavorabilissima anche con le mani, tanto che non fa difficoltà quando si stende. Da' molto tempo di lavorazione, nel senso che, non asciugandosi matte e avendo una texture cremosa, la si può ritoccare fin quando si vuole (premesso che non abbiate usato cinque chili di cipria sopra). Ovviamente - e aggiungerei: se la uso io (XD) - è in una colorazione molto chiara, e non mi piace che un bel prodotto come questo sia disponibile in una sola colorazione. Sì, sono mooolto felice che vada bene a me, ovvio, perchè è davvero l'unica bb cream che si adatta perfettamente al mio colorito cadaverico. Comunque su Wishtrend hanno creato una chart e fornito spiegazioni per come mescolare i colori e creare il vostro; la chart non è accurata, in quanto è al contrario. Ricordate che W da Mac indica sottotono rosa, mentre C sottotono giallo...Difatti io sono NC15, con sottotono giallo/neutro, difatti il C1 del Face and Body è TROPPO gialla per me. Sapendo questo, ora potete regolarvi meglio. Parlando di sottotoni, anche se siete di sottotono rosato io vi consiglierei di dare a questa bb cream una chanche, perchè è davvero leggera e si aggiusta molto bene a tutte le carnagioni (l'ho uata sulla mia coinquilina che è un NW20, quindi...! )
The BB Cream is in a basic squeazable and sleek tube, I like it cause it's simple and looks minimalistic chic-- yeah, couldn't find a better description. The texture is quite balmy, but it's also quite soft and creamy when you spread it; I must say that it glides on beautifully and with not so much effort on the skin. You can work with it as long as you want, and you can apply more during the day if you didn't overpowder your face. Obviously it's in a really light shade , and I honestly don't like the fact that there's a unique shade for everyone. Sure, I'm happy that it's so light, because it's the most perfect shade ever for me. Things must be said: if you don't overapply it or you're not looking for a high coverage base, this bb cream can be thinned and it will still suit dark skintones. But, if you like to layer it or apply a lot of it, or simply you're more than an NC30 on MAC...this BB cream would probably be too light for you. Don't worry though, cause there is a helpful post on how to adjust the color for everyone-- the only thing is that the Mac chart is the opposite, NW are actually cool undertones, N neutral, NC are warm undertones, you can even see it from their picture that the NW shades are definitely cool...! Oh, well-- Anyway, talking about undertones, this bb cream is neutral/warm, but I assure you that since it's really light, it can suit cool undertones too.
Parlando di coprenza, questa BB cream è stata davvero una sorpresa. Ovviamente fa parte della "nuova generazione" delle BB cream, ma mi ricorda comunque la classica Missha perfect Cover BB cream, solo che con più coprenza e meno scura, oleosa e appiccicosa. Ha un sacco di caratteristiche positive, perchè è stratificabile da leggera a media, e ciò significa che si può mettere più di uno strato, eppure non risulterà mai effetto stucco o cerone ( e credetemi, talvolta ho davvero esagerato con questa BB cream|). Il finish è satinato, perchè applicata di primo acchito è dewy, ma non si asciuga matte visto che è molto idratante e cremosa; sulla mia pelle secca mantiene una leggera e naturale lucidità. Ha un effetto illuminante, e la mia pelle sembra sempre più bella, in salute e luminosa, anche se magari poi ho dormito solo quattro ore. Ho (come molte di voi) sofferto di pori dilatati e continuo ad averli durante l'estate, ed inoltre sudo un sacc(hissim)o, e divento lucidissima in poco tempo con il prodotto sbagliato. L'Illuminating Supple BB cream copre i pori e li minimizza al massimo, e anche se sudo un sacco, resiste senza troppe difficoltà. Ovviamente non si riesce a nascondere brufolazzi enormi e rossori troppo evidenti, dovrete comunque usare un correttore per quelli.
In caso ve lo stesse chiedendo, il mio correttore preferito da usare con questa bb cream è il Sensual Skin Enhancer di Kevyn Aucoin, perchè come consistenza stiamo lì, sono fratelli separati alla nascita.
When it comes to coverage, I must say that this bb cream has been a big surprise. Obviously this is part of the "new generation" of bb creams, but partly reminds me the classic Missha perfect Cover BB cream, only with more coverage and less darker on my skin, less sticky or oily. It has a lot of positive thingss, because the coverage is medium to buildable, that means that you can build up the product (I used a ton of this bb cream sometimes) but it will never cake up. The finish is satin-like, because it applies dewy, but it dries up a little bit and turns into a semi-matte finish; at least it does on my dry skin. It has a brightening effect, my skin looks healthy and luminous, even if I just slept four hours. I have (like a lot of people) a lot of large pores during summer, and my skin sweats a lot, becoming oily very soon. The Illuminating Supple BB cream covers up my pores, leaving the skin silky smooth; obviously it can really hide big bumps, nor major redness-- you'll still need a concealer for spot cover up. In case you wonder, my favorite concealer to use with this bb cream is the Kevyn Aucoin Sensual Skin enhancer, because they have same consistency and finish, so they bond very well together.
In quasi un anno di tests per la Illuminating Supple BB cream, posso dire di averle fatto passare di tutto! Da sola - su di me, che non ho una pelle grassa - la BB cream dura anche sei ore filate. Mentre, se utilizzate cipria e fissanti vari, può arrivare tranquillamente alle dieci ore, con minimi o nulli ritocchi. L'unico posto dove ritocco io è il naso, sia per via degli occhiali, che per via del sebo che inevitabilmente si forma. Non dico che la bb cream è a prova di bomba, ma per un prodotto idratante è una durata più che soddisfacente! l'unica cosa che può non piacervi è la consistenza. Onestamente mi è successo di non usare cipria anche di mia volontà, tranne che per il contorno occhi, e non ho visto la base creparsi o fare lineette di colore alquanto inestetiche. Quando e se sudate molto, vi consiglio di non usare cipria sul labbro o zona alta della fronte (insomma, dove sudate) perchè così eviterete che la bb cream si mischi a sudore e cipria, creando un pastone; tanto la base resta lì, vi assicuro che non si muove per nulla. Comunque è sempre meglio non esagerare troppo con le polveri, anche se ho sempre visto questa BB cream adeguarsi perfettamente ad ogni cipria e ad ogni mix con altri fondi liquidi... quindi sono soddisfatta! In ogni caso, per quanto credo possa piacere a più tipi di pelle, mi sento di suggerirla caldamente alle pelli secche, ed un po' meno alle pelli grasse o mature.

In almost a year that I have this bb cream, I basically tested it in every way possible...and I never got disappointed. The lasting power of the bb cream alone is at least six hours without any touchups (remember that I don't have oily skin tho). While, if you use primers, powders or setting spray, I can say that it lasts ten hours, and the only place where I need to touch it up is my nose. I usually like to powder my face, and that's what I do with this bb cream too... But I must say that I skip it sometimes(But I still set my concealer under my eyes) and haven't had any major issues like creasing or patchy application. This bb cream simply works in every way! Sure, if you dislike the slightly dewy finish or if you have oily skin, you must powder... But at least you can be sure that the effect won't be the awful one that you sometimes get when powder doesn't mix well with your bb cream. I still think that if you are going to sweat a lot, it is better not to set the cheek/forehead area, because when you're gonna sweat it'll be easier for you to adjust where your base has melted.
This BB Cream is really moisturizing, so I really suggest it to dry skins.
