If you're into fitness and working out you have likely heard of the excellent Runtastic app for Android, iOS, and Windows Phone. Their two Windows Phone apps, Runtastic and Runtastic Pro, are a couple of the best fitness apps available on the platform. Today they have released four new apps for Windows Phone users that will help track specialized activities.

The four apps are for Push-ups, Sit-ups, Pull-ups, and Squats. You might be wondering why you need a dedicated app for these exercises. We weren't completely sold either, but one look at the apps and you can see why. The design is beautiful, and the functionality is powerful. Each app has several great features that will help track, motivate, and share your exercises.

Three levels of sports science training plans, with an end goal of 30 pull-ups in one session

Count of pull-ups/sit-ups/squats using accelerometer

Count of completed push-ups by touching the screen with your nose

Automatic countdown timer for your break between sets

Voice Coach

Personal records and exercise statistics recorded and saved (i.e. monthly training statistics)

Leaderboard for personal records and overall repetitions: compare to others and see how you rank with your Runtastic friends

Upload workout activities to Runtastic.com for future review, analysis, and comparison

Social media sharing: Share your strength and personal records with friends via Facebook, Twitter, and E-mail.

These four apps are all "Pro" which means they each cost $0.99. If you are someone who does these exercises on a daily basis it might be worth a download. Grab the links below.
