Hi everyone! As I mentioned in my last post, I moved to Georgia recently. I've been here almost two weeks now, and it's been a whirlwind of getting used to the area, work meetings, and setting everything up (bank, phone, driver's license, car, yikes!). And that doesn't even include unpacking - I'm still waiting for the movers to arrive with my stuff (they said "before Christmas"...groan!). Luckily I haven't passed out from the heat, but wow, I've never been so thankful for air conditioning.

I've given a lot of thought to blogging. As you've noticed, my blogging has been very sporadic this year. I know for certain I will not be able to maintain the schedule that I did when I was a student. But I still enjoy blogging as a hobby, and with my job being stressful, I will certainly need an outlet. My goal is to post once a week, and right now that feels doable. And I never know why people come to this blog - some of you mention my swatches, others enjoy the nail art. So I hope to continue to do both.

About this polish:

Today I have some photos from the vault. I got Lynnderella Venus in Copper several months ago, and it was one of those polishes I admired in photos, and LOVED when I had the chance to try in person. It's a glitter topper with a mix of copper, rose, fuchsia, and turquoise glitter, and aqua shimmer. It reminds me of my cherished Common Sense, only better!

Swatches show one coat over Sally Hansen Barracuda, and in some of the photos, I topped with Cult Nails Wax That. This is one of those polishes that must be topped with matte top coat!

The nail art:

I did a simple stained glass look on the accent nail. The colours are from the Essie Spring 2015 Flowerista collection. I bought this collection to swatch but then got super busy - bad blogger, I know!

Availability:

Venus in Copper is an LE, so it may be available on the Lynnderella Ebay store, however, I believe that all bottles have been sold there. So blog sales and destash sales are probably your best bet.

What do you think of Venus in Copper? Are you a fan of glitter polishes, or over them?
