When a vehicle is sold, the buyer and the seller are required to complete the transfer of vehicle ownership. This process makes the buyer the new registered owner.

Applications to Transfer Vehicle Ownership are submitted to the Registering Authority in whose Jurisdiction the transferor and transferee resides or has their place of business.

1. Date of Birth.

==Procedure==
#An application for issue of Transfer of Ownership shall be made in Form 29(in Duplicate) and Form 30.(in Duplicate if covered by Finance/Hire Purchase /Lease) with the signatures of the financer.
#Fill up and submit form to Transfer Vehicle Ownership along with all other required documents.
#Pay prescribed fee.
