'''BASEstation On Board Computer for Petroleum Delivery Fleets'''

New BASEstation on board computer is an important device used in the engineering field which is specifically designed for the industrial petroleum sector for controlling the delivery fleets. This device is developed and backed by the high grade computer asset management. This is actually an [http://www.baseng.com/ '''in-cab computer'''] device which is considered as a reliable interface with truck systems. While using in the technological field this provides real-time communication between truck and back offices systems. BASEstation on board computer mounted system is enabled to complete product reconciliation between fuel loaded and delivered.

The basic idea behind the manufacturing of BASEstation in-cab computer is to assist the fuel trucks. As mentioned earlier it is designed such a way that it can seamlessly interface with all other truck systems. The expert manufacturers as well as engineers have mainly developed bulletproof connections to the electronic register, the radio control system, driver authorization system, tank gauge, and engine/chassis telemetric. The system is also enabled with built-in GPS, satellite, cellular, and Wi-Fi capability plus mapping and routing.

BASEstation device is water resistant which is equipped with color touch screen display, compact flash, smart card, magnetic card readers and USB host/device port. The application software used in the device can be custom designed in order to make it adaptable to a wide variety of applications. The device is also equipped with an optional internal wireless modem for HSPA or EVDO networks. Internal GPS allows BASEstation to be used for vehicle navigation, AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) and/or Location Based Permission systems for fuel delivery security.

The system is built with odometer signal conditioner. It is also enabled with 4 Digital Input / Open Drain Output with software selectable pull up/pull down. 6 button capacitive touch keypad gives the device a unique look. The additional features include: 256MB of Flash, 256MB of DDR SDRAM, 2 USB Device Ports, Bluetooth 2.1, WIFI 802.11b/g/n etc.

The system device is equipped with the following optional features:

• ISO 7811 Magnetic card reader/ISO 7816

• Smart Card Reader (combined module)

• Internal SD Card Socket (4GB max)

• Internal Wireless Data Modems(HSPA or EVDO or DSP Radio)3

• Handset and/or Handsfree Voice Calls

The system works well with a voltage supply of 12 V, Min 6 V, Max 32 V and it is cooperative while working in the operating temperature of Min -30o C Max 65o C. In a structural overview the BASEstation [http://www.baseng.com/petroleum/2-remote-readout-RFID '''on board computer'''] is seamless, reliable interface to electronic registers. The expert engineers have collaborated with register manufacturers to deliver a high performance link between their register and the BASEstation. During the work process the loading rack volumes are captured and reconciled against a detailed sales transaction record using database – a user friendly – in cab – customer account detail.

A detailed delivery ticket is produced for each delivery and an electronic version of every transaction is uploaded wirelessly to the back office. Every BASEstation customer is assigned a dedicated deployment expert to ensure the exchange of data between truck and back office is robust and usable.
