== Resumen ==
[[Template:Es:Place]] es una plantilla para colocar los detalles de un lugar en una página wiki, en español. [[Template:Place]] es una plantilla para colocar los detalles de un lugar en una página wiki con el idioma señalado con el parámetro "lang" (al momento esta funcionalidad aún no se encuentra implementada por lo que se usa el valor por defecto inglés). La plantilla coloca una descripción verbal en la página y una caja de información a la derecha del texto principal con ligas para tener más información del lugar. Existen opciones para un mapa centrado en la caja principal o una imagen colocada en la caja de información adicional.
La plantilla coloca al artículo en las categorías adecuadas: <nowiki>[[</nowiki>Category:'''Types''' in '''subarea'''<nowiki>]]</nowiki> y/o <nowiki>[[</nowiki>Category:'''Types''' in '''area'''<nowiki>]]</nowiki> y <nowiki>[[</nowiki>Category:'''name'''<nowiki>]]</nowiki> (si la categoría '''name''' existe) por lo que no hay necesidad de hacer eso manualmente.

==Categorías==
If there is a category for the name of the place (e.g. ''New York'') then this category is added to the page.
The template will add the place to a category ''types in subarea'' (e.g. ''Cities in Berkshire'').
If the subarea is not defined then the template will also add the place to the category ''types in area'' (eg. ''Cities in UK''). This increases the chance the place will be allocated to a category that exists, but ensures that if a more specific category exists it isn't allocated to the parent category.
