“Looking at the encouraging economic forecasts beyond (fiscal 2013-14), it may be very easy to lose focus,” Orr wrote. “ … We must remain grounded and pragmatic, guarding against the trap of once again building on a bubble.”
Orr reminded supervisors of the costly new spending obligations facing the county, including raises guaranteed to employees in exchange for changes to the pension system; planned jail expansions to relieve crowding and the launch of a new public safety communications network.
County departments are expected to absorb the pay hikes,chanel bags, Orr wrote. “In some cases, this will entail layoffs and/or service reductions,” he wrote.

Alan "Lani" Exton, a Hall of Fame coach at Arcadia High School who also coached at Pasadena City College, has died,2161464. He was 76,true religion sale.

He coached the Apaches from 1964-73 and led Arcadia to a CIF-Southern Section 3A championship game appearance in 1965. He was the fourth coach in PCC history and led the Lancers for five years starting in 1976. He was inducted into the Arcadia High Hall of Fame in 2003.
