Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs has been delayed until Spring 2014 for all consoles. Ubisoft says it is taking the extra time to further polish the game. Hopefully this will lead to less bugs than are typically seen in Ubisoft’s open world games.
This means that the Xbox One and Playstation 4 both have one less game coming this holiday season. The selection of games available for the next-gen systems this year was already going to be very limited, and losing games like this is bad news for early adopters. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to any more launch titles.
It’s currently unclear what this delay means for those who pre-ordered an Xbox One or PS4 Watch Dogs Bundle.
