Middle Atlantic Products has announced several new lines aimed at integrators, including a new value-oriented series of power products, new custom-fit rackshelves, and new digital connectivity solutions.

Select Series PDU with RackLink

The Select Series is offered in versatile, vertical, compact and traditional rackmount form factors, providing intelligent power optimized for AV systems.

The line includes five 15-amp models: two-outlet compact, 4-outlet rackmount, 9-outlet rackmount, 10-outlet low-profile vertical, and 16-outlet vertical. Select Series PDUs are designed to allow either local or virtual control, via third-party control systems or cloud. Additional features include control start up or shut down with remote sequencing, multiple IP auto-ping functionality, and MOV surge and spike protection.

"Our new Select Series PDU with RackLink is engineered to provide the same trusted RackLink intelligence found in our Premium Series," said Scott Lowder, senior product manager of power at Middle Atlantic, "in affordable, compact, and vertical designs built for even the most densely packed enclosures. This combination extends control from traditional enclosures to hard to reach displays and everything in between."

The new Select Series joins Middle Atlantic's Premium Series PDU with RackLink offerings, broadening the company's complete range to cover a wide variety of price points and space requirements.

Shelves and Cables

Middle Atlantic has also announced new RSH Series Custom Rackshelves, with a custom-cut faceplate to fit any ainstallation need. They save space by accommodating smaller devices that previously required a 2-space shelf. Tool-less knock-down assembly simplifies installation.

The faceplate attaches after shelf installation, allowing easy last-minute equipment installation or upgrades. Shelves are available in 8- or 11.5-inch depth, and are UL/ETL rated for equipment up to 35 pounds.

In addition, Middle Atlantic has announced a new line of C2G digital connectivity products, including high-speed HDMI solutions that can span distances of up to 1,000 feet. The stated goal is to offer integrators "a one-stop resource" for AV infrastructure, from racks and enclosures, to power, to connectivity.
