today i'm celebrating:
anxiety free salon visit and my favorite blue eyed boy.
yep. elijah went for a haircut and survived. smiled almost the whole time, with less than minimal protests! H U G E success. super proud and excited for him. hallelujah. praise jesus! i sorta miss his floppy, wild hair. but he's still pretty cute.
abundant sunshine and fresh air.
we've enjoyed beautiful weather these last few days. the river is thawing. and rising. i'll update you on the flooding situation. our building is on the river, so we have the inside scoop. don't worry, we also have a giant dike wall separating us from the water. many areas nearby struggle during flood season, so add the prairie to your prayer list, ok?

yesterday was my sweets day for the week. i saw a sprite in the fridge before lunch, and wanted it so badly. i resisted at first because i resist all week long. i completely forgot i could have one because it was sunday! i call that progress. and a little crazy.
