The past week or so it has been cloudy and rainy practically nonstop. It certainly makes it difficult to get decent blog photos (why hello frizz). But it also makes it difficult to choose the right shoes. It's a bit warm for boots, but flats and sandals are out of the question when it's raining. I needed a transitional option that can keep my feet dry and withstand the rain.
Lately I have been turning to my newest pair of booties from 4EurSole. I wore my wedge sandals from them nonstop this summer so I knew these booties were going to be amazing! The arch support, cushion, adjustable straps, and neutral color made them so perfect for whatever I was wearing. They were fair more comfortable than all of my flat sandals, too. Those types of sandals just have no support! I loved the bit of height they gave me, too. When wearing shorts I will take any bit of leg lengthening I can get!
After such a great experience with my 4EurSole Splendor wedges, I was thrilled to try out their booties. I thought the Waterproof Concerto booties would be very versatile and I really liked that they are waterproof (Although I have to say the Forte booties are super cute too)! No more remembering to wear my rain boots and switch shoes due to the weather!

I am a very big fan of suede and leather shoes in general because of their quality, longevity and comfort. I will pay much more for leather or suede shoes for all of those reasons! I have a pair of boots that is over 10 years old and still get compliments! As a person with slightly wide feet, I have found that leather and suede stretch over time to mold to your foot which is extremely helpful when wide sizes aren't available. I typically wear a size 7.5, but will size up to an 8 if a wide size isn't available. I was so excited to see that 4EurSole does have wide sizes for these booties! I ordered a size 38 wide and they are perfect. They are so comfortable they barely need any breaking in. Just like the wedges, I could feel the arch support and cushion immediately. It helps when you are on your feet a lot and walking around during the day.
These booties have a 2'1/4" heel to add a little height, but not enough to be uncomfortable. I love the slip resistent outsole, too. When it rains our hallways at work always get wet with students coming in and out of the building. These are so helpful!

With these shoes, pumpkin patch or apple picking, work or weekend, seasonably warm or a tad chilly, rain or shine, I am ready for fall!
