TRENTON, Missouri – Police have apprehended the man accused of attempted murder following a shooting in Chariton Friday.
A warrant was issued for Robert Graham, 45, following Friday’s shooting.
Police responded 1701 Court Avenue Friday morning. Officers found Gayle Darrah, 33, on her lawn suffering from a gunshot wound. She is currently in critical condition at a Des Moines-area hospital.
Chariton police and the Division of Criminal Investigation looked for Graham throughout the weekend.
Trenton, Missouri police were also on the lookout for Graham or his car, since he had family in the area.
An update on the police department’s Facebook page said they had spotted his car in Trenton. A few hours later, they posted that Graham was in custody.
Graham was found in Poosey State Park in Livingston County. He’s now being held in the county jail.
