Hello Readers!
Sorry I didn’t get this post up on Saturday as usual. It was actually my birthday yesterday, and while we didn’t have any “specific to celebrating” per se events, we did have a very full day.
The boys both had hockey and then in between we spent time at a whole foods taste fest in a local high quality organic shop in our downtown area, and then went to a honey extraction party.
It was really something!
We all learned tons about honey and got to participate in getting the honey off of the combs. My son even got to wear a beekeeper outfit for a bit !
Thankfully there are still a load of free ebooks today, and there is a fabulous deal at Tropical Traditions that you won’t want to miss!
Please note, some of the following links are affiliate or referral links. If you click on them and make a purchase, I might make a commission. Your support of my blog is very much appreciated and it helps keep this free resource up and running for you!
Amazing Coconut Oil Deal
I use Tropical Traditions mainly for expeller pressed coconut oil, but I also love their dishwasher detergent and their grass-fed beef, and…and….
Well, right now, Tropical Traditions (TT for short) is having an AMAZING Sale on their Gold Label Coconut Oil. This is the fabuloso oil that I highlighted in my 1 Gallon Giveaway just awhile ago.
Check out the review—their coconut oil really is something else.
Here’s the deal. Right now through 11/28 you can get a 5 gallon pail of this oil for ONLY 46% off–just $199.80, making each gallon only $39.96. UNBELIEVABLE! This coconut oil retails for $120 per gallon.
Think 5 gallons is too much? First of all, this coconut oil has a long shelf life. PLUS you can order 1 pail and share it with others.
Really–this.is.the.deal.to.get.
And if you’re a new customer, you get a great FREE coconut oil book loaded with information and loads of yummy recipes as well – with your first purchase.
And now–a word from 2 of my sponsors:
Peepods – 10% off + a Blessing
It’s that time of the month again.
Time to go to the store and get those disposable panty liners and such.
Not if you have Peepods .
Every month I feel a little “pretty” at that time of the month.
All this because of Peepods.
Haven’t thought about using cloth feminine products? You should.
These cloth pads are so nice–check them out here.
I love their patterns and I love the convenience. I mean, we did cloth diapers so this is no big deal (for some reason making this jump seems to be a much bigger deal, but it really isn’t you know? I mean, poop is pretty gross .)
You can check out all of the other patterns they have here.
Benefits of shopping at Peepods:
1. Save 10% off any purchase at Peepods using CODE wholenewmom.
2. Bless less-privileged women. With every set of pads purchased, you employ ladies in Belize who’ve been employed by Amber, the owner of Peepods. You can also buy pads for women overseas. Here’s more on that from Peepods’ site:
Peepods will match your donation and pay the shipping. Simply purchase your product and then select the “DONATE” coupon at checkout. We will then ship the set you buy and the set we promise – double your donation- for women in Ethiopia longing to dress with dignity.
Check out my review of Peepods here.

As usual, these books were free at posting time, but prices are subject to change. Please check all prices before purchasing. (Of course, you really aren’t purchasing if they are free, but you do need to add them to your cart. So really you are .)
And you don’t even need a Kindle to read these Kindle books. That’s something, isn’t it? You just download Kindle for PC or Mac at Amazon and you can read these on your computer. Nice, eh? Spend less and have one less thing in the home to keep track of.
