Well, today I am introducing you all to a company that I started buying from and working with because:

Here’s how I found out about At Home.
We’ve been needing some new dishes for a long time (we’ve had a rash of broken plates, bowl, and glasses in our home–sigh), and I was looking for something plain with a yellowish tone to brighten up our dining area.
I wanted something high quality–And with no lead or cadmium.
Did you know that you have to be careful about lead and cadmium in tableware?
Well, you do.
I didn’t know that until about 2 years ago, but it turns out that there is lead and/or cadmium in the coating of a lot of dinnerware–and in some ceramic bakeware. So–be careful what you buy.
Anyhow, a friend of mine had started working with At Home, and she invited me to check out their offerings.
I loved so much of what I saw on her site.
Here’s what I found…
1. I love the prices.
Their regular prices are already decent, but their sale prices are GREAT!
They have Daily Deals, Flash Sales (that change every week) and right now they have a Summer Sale with some prices that are just amazing.
2. I love the quality
Many of the products that you see on the At Home site are things that you will see in other upscale stores, like Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, Joss & Main, and Ballard Designs.
In fact, I have been told that their furniture is made in the same factory as Pottery Barn’s. Sigh…love that look, but don’t love the price 
.
3. Lead and Cadmium
And, according to At Home’s Headquarters, their tableware all meets or exceeds Prop 65 regulations for lead and cadmium, so I was thrilled. (Of course, if you are concerned about a particular product, check with their customer service first.)
4. Nice-looking products
I love the look at Pottery Barn, but we can’t swing those price tags.
Plus it’s a lot more fun to get a great deal and have money left over to spend on other things, right?
Turns out that At Home has a bunch of housewares at prices that appeal to
cheap
er frugal homemakers like me .
And after looking around a ton, I thought that I would easily turn to this company again and again. For myself, for presents (think wedding, Christmas, birthdays…), and more.

Really, just a few–I restrained myself.
