This week is just brimming with so many good things to share with you.
Including 2 FREE Summits that I am so excited about.
I’m sure you’ve noticed that there are all kinds of summits going on these days–in fact I’ve been a little overwhelmed with how many there are.
But these are good ones. Really good.
And since they’re free, you really don’t lose anything by signing up. Even if you only have time to see 1-2 talks, you haven’t lost anything (I guess even if you don’t listen to any you are still not out anything but your sign up time, eh :)?).
In any case, I wouldn’t miss these.

They’re super sturdy and “just right” to add something to your hair without it being too much.
Here’s my Lilla Rose review so you can learn more and you can click here to find your size and buy some clips.
Just email me at wholenewmom {at} gmail {dot} come with your proof of purchase after you’ve bought your 3 clips and I will mail you a certificate for your freebie.
FREE Women’s Gluten-free Summit
This is a must attend event – and it starts this coming Monday.
Gluten is a big deal. It’s one of the most inflammatory foods that you can eat and it is wreaking havoc on the health of so many people.
And it’s damage is often silent.
Whether you are gluten-free, thinking about going gluten-free, there is so much good information in this summit including:
- How Gluten Sensitivity Depletes Minerals & Wrecks Your Bones
- How Gluten Disrupts Healthy Thyroid Function
- How Gluten Wrecks Your Adrenals and What You Can Do About It!
- Beat the Yeast & Finally Live Candida-Free
- How to Determine if You Have More Food Sensitivities
Great stuff, eh?
For more details, here’s my post outlining more details about the event.
And make sure to sign up here. I’ll for sure be listening along with you!
FREE Hashimoto’s Summit
Have you heard of Hashimoto’s Disease? It’s an autoimmune disease of the thyroid and it can cause all kind of problems:
– fatigue, aches and pains, swelling, and more.
I had heard that 90% of those with thyroid disease have Hashimoto’s Disease – but could it really be 97%!?!
That’s what the folks running the Hashimoto’s Institute are saying.
Yes, it’s ANOTHER summit, but this again, is must hear information.
Believe me, there have been other summits that I haven’t promoted simply because I haven’t wanted to totally overwhelm you all.
This is one that I consider a don’t miss.
I haven’t gone into a bunch of details about this yet, but I just found out about 9 months ago that I have Hashimoto’s. I never knew what it was but I had heard about it and one of my closest friends from when we lived in Illinois had it.
But like all things, once it hits home — you learn.
Hashimoto’s can be really terrible and it can lead to other autoimmune diseases so if you, or someone you love, has thyroid disease, you need to sign up for this fabulous free summit and get some free bonus gifts while you’re at it..
The bonuses are:
1. Overcoming Hashimoto’s fatigue
2. Healing Hashimoto’s, a Savvy Person’s Guide
3. Addressing Your Hashimoto’s from a full person perspective
and more.
Here are some of the topics that will be covered:
– dosing strategies for thyroid replacement
– gut protocols for Hashimoto’s
– the use of fermented foods for your thyroid
– Hashimoto’s and protecting your brain
Wow. There is sooo much more – I’ll be back later to tell you more for sure but this is not to be missed.

We Can ALL Scream for Ice Cream! – 1/2 off!
Ice cream has always been one of my FAVORITE foods. I could seriously polish off — well, I don’t know that I want to tell you how much I could eat at one sitting.
It would be VERY embarrassing.
I just can’t eat ice cream made with milk anymore and my son has a life-threatening allergy to dairy so vegan ice cream is the way we have to go these days.
Have you ever priced dairy-free ice cream? YIKES! I’ve almost screamed looking at those itty bitty pints with price tags that said so coyly “$6.99″ as if they were trying to fool me that I wasn’t going to be paying $7 for a pint of ice cream.
Puh leez.
Get We All Scream for Ice Cream instead. It’s LOADED with delectable ice cream recipes — and more than that.
Included in this We All Scream for Ice Cream (that costs LESS than the price of one pint of that above-mentioned ice cream, I might add) are:
– 10 dairy-free ice cream recipes (most easily adaptable for low carb diets)
– tips for making ice cream without an ice cream maker
– 3 popsicle recipes
– 11 special treats and garnishes like choc-o-shell (a knock off magic shell)
I LOVE this book – super healthy – all dairy-free ice cream recipes that are all seriously drool-worthy.
You’ll find yourself wanting to lick each and every page of this book. Seriously – well, maybe only the ones with pictures on them :).
So stop screaming about out of control price tags and grab all the ice cream you want for only $5 – (plus the price of the ingredients, of course :)).
The Grain-Free Snacker – up to more than 50% off! 5 Days Only!
I’ve been drooling over this book ever since I saw it.
Our family has been working on cutting more and more grains out of our diets – so this is just what we need!
There are dips, chips, cookies, munchies, meaty snacks, baked goods, bars, chilled, frozen and fruit recipes.
Recipes like – ready :)? And remember – these are all GRAIN-FREE!
- Pizza Pockets
– Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Pudding
– Chocolate Almond Butter “Cheesecake”
– Cinnamon Bun Fat Bomb Bars
– Monkey Poop (Haystacks) – gotta love this!
– Sour Lemon Gummy Worms….fun!
- Can’t Stop Eating These Crackers
– Sweet Potato and Bacon Pierogies.
oh my.
You can click here to learn more – and I guarantee that you will be hungry after you see it!
I just got the book today and made one of the recipes already and it was a big hit!
Looking forward to trying more. I always know a cookbook is good when I want to make at least 1/2 of the recipes in it, you know?
Side Note:
I know many of you use only low carb sweeteners. This book uses natural sweeteners like maple syrup and honey and coconut sugar. You can easily sub in whatever sweetener you like.
And while some of the recipes do use egg, you can often sub for those as well – for some of them that use only coconut flour, subbing won’t work, but for the others that use nut butter and such, you will be just fine.
You can check out all of the details of the book here…….but don’t drool for too long – the sale is only on for 5 more days :).
Just Almonds
As always, I’m reminding you that if you want yummy almonds but don’t like eating engine fuel, then you should check out Just Almonds.
I’ve been buying my almonds from them for a long time now.
They’re not organic, and while I would LOVE to buy organic almonds, I just can’t do organic everything. So I’m happy to have these with no added fuel :).
They’re super sweet and if you buy in bulk you can save on shipping, so go in with a friend.
Most almonds come from California and with the horrible drought they are having out there almond prices are sure to climb.

Free Kindle Books
As always, these books were free at the time of posting but that might change at any time.
No need to buy a Kindle or other fancy device to read these – just download Kindle for PC or Mac here and read on your computer.
What is Stevia?
If you missed my post on stevia – Is Stevia a Danger to Your Health? The Truth Comes Out - make sure you read it.
Salads to Go
‘Cause everything is better in a mason jar :).
A Thankful Heart in a World of Hurt
Joni Eareckson Tada is one of my favorite Christian speakers. She has been through sooo much – a lot of hurt. Paralysis and breast cancer and excruciating pain.
This is clearly a book written out of deep knowledge.
The Lavender Miracle
Dutch Oven Cookbook
Seed Saving for Beginners
First I need to get a real garden going – then maybe I can do this. Well, we did have a ton of lettuce this year and we’re planting more seeds today -not giving up yet :)!
Baking in Your Skillet
Small Garden Ideas for Growing Vegetables
Off the Grid 101
Slow Cooker Recipes
The Vegan Solution
Matt Stone has some controversial views so I might not agree with everything in this book – but it might be a good one and he’s popular so I included it.
Parenting the Greats
That’s all for this week – but then again, that was a LOT!
Have a good rest of the weekend and I’ll see you next week.
