JACKSON COUNTY, Ala. – Authorities are searching a densely wooded area for a man with Alzheimer’s who was reported missing last month. Authorities say a land owner on Crow Mountain discovered a vehicle in a wooded area over the weekend. Investigators determined the car belonged to James Robert Elliott.
Officials with multiple law enforcement agencies are searching the Crow Mountain area near Fackler for Elliott.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency issued a Missing Senior Alert for Elliott in October. He was last seen leaving his home in Decatur on October 11.
