December is, by far, my favorite month of the year! Lots of time with family, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and time for fresh goal setting! In 2014, while trying to balance college life with my own business, I picked up my first set of PowerSheets hoping desperately to clear the clutter in my brain. And it WORKED. Every December since, PowerSheets have become a part of my tradition.

For those who aren’t familiar, PowerSheets are a bound, goal setting planner by Cultivate What Matters. The beginning guides you through getting #allthethings out of your head, and then helps you translate those ideas into goals. I typically take one morning in late December to really dig in. I turn off my phone, turn on some of my favorite acoustic tunes, and put pen to paper.

This year, our entire team at Emily Ley is doing the PowerSheets for ourselves both personally and professionally. At our annual goals meeting in January, we’re going to share our notes with each other and see how we can support one another. Last year, I shared that I wanted work out daily, but I had a hard time fitting it in before work. So we adjusted my daily schedule to have a longer lunch hour where I could get my workout in!

My favorite details:

New, smaller size. This year’s edition is a good bit more compact than previous years and I love it!

Details, details, details. The tiny foil details and gorgeous colored pages/tabs all create a beautiful experience, and their new stickers are just so cute!

Process updates. Probably my favorite update is the way that the layout and process was revised. PowerSheets have remained the same amazing resource, but I feel that this year has a much smoother (and less-complicated!) approach!

The new variations! Cultivate What Matters offers undated, 6 month PowerSheets. These are AMAZING for people who either need to plan through a shorter amount of time or want to start at a time other than January.

Who PowerSheets are for:

Big dreamers who feel overwhelmed turning those dreams into plans.

Bloggers or business owners who need to create a concrete game plan, and need something to hold themselves accountable.

Anyone looking to unload their ideas onto paper and focus on the good stuff.

If you couldn’t already tell, I highly recommend giving PowerSheets a try if you’re looking to cultivate what matters in your life. They’re such a great (and beautiful) tool, and pretty fun to look back on year after year!

I’d love to hear from y’all! Are you a PowerSheets user? What was your word for 2016?

XO,

WHIT
