I must confess I'd never heard of this paradisaical Croatian town before, where so many scenes from Game of Thrones took place, so I feel like everyone should rush, enjoy what good-value this place is, and go before it becomes super touristy because it's just that good!
Debo confesar que nunca había oído hablar de esta ciudad paradisiaca Croata, donde se filmaron tantas escenas 'Game of Thrones', así que pineso que todo mundo debe apurarse a visitar este precioso lugar antes de que se vuelva súper turístico, porque lo será!
WHAT TO DO
1. Walk the Cobbled Streets. Simple but true. Walk, walk, walk! The area of Old Town is small and more than manageable on foot so you won't get lost and every corner, narrow alley is so romantic and picturesque, I literally didn't stop twirling in my beautiful sheer panel lace dress and taking pics, it's just too cute!
1. Caminar por las calles adoquinadas. Simple, pero cierto. Camina, camina, camina! Es una ciudad pequeña, así que no te vas a perder y cada esquina y callejón estrecho son tan románticos y pintorescos, que literalmente no paramos de tomar fotos y de bailar en mi hermoso vestido de encaje y paneles transparentes, es tan tan bello!
We took these pics in the afternoon before a fancy dinner so that's why I'm all dressed up! I managed to walk loads in these gladiator sandals as the heels are so comfy, but I must confess when it was time for dinner, I was more than ready to sit down!
Tomamos estas fotos en la tarde antes de una cena de lujo, así que es por eso que estoy tan vestida! Me las arreglé para caminar en estas sandalias estilo gladiador ya que los tacones son muy cómodos, pero debo confesar que cuando llegó la hora de la cena, estaba más que lista para sentarme!
2. Channel your inner Daenerys Targaryen. At the fortresses! I could totally imagine my dragons flying around the city, plus the views are INSANE! Also, there's an all-day ticket you can buy that gives you entry to all fortresses so don't throw it away.

I've wanted this Lulu Guinness lips clutch for such a long time! My obsession with red lips pop art started over 10 years ago when I visited the Dali museum and fell in love with his red lips couch (one day I'll have a copy, yes!), and ever since anything that reminds me of it and is beautiful quality immediately has me hooked! I love online browsing/shopping at House of Fraser as they have so many favourite brands, so when I came across the lips clutch (again), I knew the universe was telling me something, so I'm finally a proud owner! Is there any pop up piece you're obsessed with too?
He querido este bolsito de labios de Lulu Guinness por tanto tiempo! Mi obsesión con los labios rojos de arte pop comenzó hace más de 10 años cuando visité el museo de Dalí por primera vez y me enamoré de su sofá de labios rojos (del cual algun día tendré una copia!), y desde entonces cualquier cosa que me lo recuerde y es de buena calidad me engancha de inmediato! Me encanta navegar/comprar en línea en House of Fraser, ya que tienen muchas de mis marcas favoritas, así que cuando me encontré de nuevo con este bolsito, supe que el universo me estaba diciendo algo! Tenes alguna pieza de arte pop con la que también te obsesionas?
3. Watch the old center of Sibenik from Banj Beach. Hence, the cover picture of this post. It's an OMG moment when you look at the post card view of town from Banj Beach, absolutely breathtaking!
3. Aprecia la vista de la parte antigua de Sibenik desde Banj Beach. Esta es la vista de la imagen de la portada de este post. Es un momento épico cuando vimos con nuestros propios ojos lo que parece una tarjeta postal! La vista desde Playa Banj es absolutamente impresionante!
4. Go to Krka falls. We were in Sibenik for 4 days and didn't stop exploring but unfortunately didn't have time to visit the stunning Krka falls! :( So please visit on my behalf, think about me and tweet me a pic (@whitswonderland) when you go!
4. Visitá las cataratas Krka. Estuvimos en Sibenik por 4 días y no dejamos de explorar este precioso lugar pero desafortunadamente no nos dio tiempo de visitar las impresionantes cataratas Krka! :( Así que visitálas en mi nombre, pensá en mí y mandame un tweet @whitswonderland) cuando vayás!
5. Get on a boat. The view of Sibenik from the sea is like living inside a movie! We went with VIP Trip Croatia and visited a fortress in the middle of the sea that when you climb on top of it, you feel like you're on top of the world (see pics below) and wandered around the ocean while looking at islands, hotels, and architecture.
5. Subite en un barco. La vista de Sibenik desde el mar es como vivir dentro de una película! Fuimos con VIP Croacia y visitamos una fortaleza en medio del mar, que cuando te subís encima de ella, sentis como si estuvieses en la cima del mundo (ver fotos abajo)! Luego nos fuimos a explorar alrededor del océano mientras mirábamos las hermosas islas, hoteles, y arquitectura.
WHERE TO EAT
1. Roca. Not only where to eat but where to go (even more!), Roca Kuca is a gorgeous, big, traditional family-owned restaurant and vinery located 15 min away from the center of Sibenik. The area is known for its homemade curated prosciutto which would make Italians jealous and Roca has the best one -they farm the pigs themselves!
1. Roca. No sólo adónde comer sino también adónde ir, Roca Kuca es un precioso restaurante y viñedo familiar amplio y tradicional, situado a 15 minutos del centro de Sibenik. La zona es conocida por las su jamón curado (prosciutto) hecho en casa lo que pondría a mas de un Italiano celoso y Roca cuenta con la mejor granja de cerdos -ellos mismos los crian!
2. D-Resort. The Art restaurant at D-Resort is so chic and modern, but also romantic! You can see the fascinating old town Sibenik city lights from the balcony of the restaurant while listening to live piano music. The eclectic cuisine with Mediterranean dishes is so delicious and the sommelier and wine selection fantastic!
2. D-Resort. El restaurante Art en D-Resort es tan elegante y moderno como romántico! Desde el balcon del restaurante, se pueden apreciar las fascinantes luces de la ciudad vieja de Sibenik desde el mientras escuchas al pianista en vivo. La cocina ecléctica con platos mediterráneos es tan deliciosa y el sommelier y la selección de vino es fantástico!
3. Pelegrini. La creme de la creme, Pelegrini is a future Michelin-star restaurant! Impeccable service and attention to detail, the restaurant prides itself in serving the best of Croatian cuisine with a lovely story behind it, be it a take on grandma's special dish or local produce. We went for the tasting menu with wine pairing (oh yes, I could almost be rolled out of the restaurant and a dress that used to be quite 'lose' suddenly became too tight!) as we wanted to try it all and were truly impressed by the quality and selection of Croatian wine -needs to be exported to the UK, please!
3. Pelegrini. La crème de la crème, Pelegrini futuro es un restaurante con una estrella Michelin! Un servicio impecable y la atención a los detalles, el restaurante se enorgullece de servir lo mejor de la cocina croata con una preciosa historia detrás de él, ya sea una toma en el plato especial de la abuela o productos de la tierra. Fuimos para la degustación con menú de maridaje de vinos (oh, sí, casi podía ser rodado fuera del restaurante y un vestido que solía ser bastante 'perder' De repente est devenu demasiado apretado!) Como queríamos probar todo y quedamos realmente impresionados por la calidad y la selección de vino croata -necesita que ser exportado al Reino Unido, por favor!
WHERE TO STAY
D-Resort Sibenik. Without any doubt! Architectural, modern, cool D-Resort is the newest hotel in Sibenik and the most luxurious without being pretentious. Its boat-like design matches beautifully the shore overlooked from the rooms. Serene and fresh, I woke up every morning looking at beautiful sailing boats in the Dalmatian Coast. An oasis in the city, their huge infinity pool and relaxing spa will get you into 'zen' mode immediately. But above all, the service is second to none in the hospitality industry and we were treated like royalty!

D-Resort Sibenik. Sin lugar a dudas! Arquitectónico, moderno, fresco D-Resort es el hotel más nuevo de Sibenik y el más lujoso sin ser pretencioso. Su diseño del barco-como muy bien coincide con la orilla Ninguna vista desde las habitaciones. Sereno y fresco, me despertaba cada mañana mirando bellos barcos de navegación en la costa dálmata. Un oasis en la ciudad, su enorme piscina y un relajante spa le conseguirá en el tiempo 'Zen' modo inmediato. Objetivo Por encima de todo, el servicio es inigualable en la industria hotelera y nos trataron como reyes!
