This beautiful and versatile (it can be worn short or long) dress was inspired and created especially for me! After his successful collections at Fashion Week San Jose over the last 3 years, the Costa Rican Designer was ready to put together his very own runway and I was so happy to be there to support one of my favorite Costa Rican designers and experience the theater and magic of the event!
Esta hermoso y versátil vestido (puede ser usado largo o corto) fue inspirado y creado especialmente para mí! Después de mostrar exitosamente sus colecciones en el Fashion Week San José en los últimos 3 años, el Diseñador Costarricense estaba listo para hacer su propio show y estoy muy feliz de haber estado allí para apoyar a uno de mis Diseñadores Costarricenses favoritos y experimentar el teatro y magia del evento!
Daniel is an artistic and creative genius. He quite literally does not stop and takes the lead on everything he does. His creative process includes personally painting large beautiful canvases to crystallize his inspirations in one vision (he is an accomplished artist), sourcing rare and special fabrics, right through to designing and making the dresses! He even found the time to paint the walls of his Atelier to ensure they perfectly reflected his vision and has even been known to take the photos for his campaigns! He's such an inspiration and you can meet him very shortly at Wonderland Dialogues!
Daniel es un genio artístico y creativo. Él literalmente no se detiene y toma la iniciativa en todo lo que hace. Su proceso creativo incluye el personalmente pintar bellos lienzos para cristalizar sus inspiraciones en una visión (es un artista consumado), un abastecimiento de telas únicas y especiales, hasta diseñar y hacer los vestidos! Él incluso encontró el tiempo para pintar las paredes de su Atelier para asegurarse de que reflejaran perfectamente su visión y hasta se le reconoce como el fotógrafo de sus propias campañas! Él es una inspiración y por lo tanto muy pronto lo conocerás en Wonderland Dialogues!
I was very lucky to be invited backstage to experience all the excitement while getting my makeup and hair done with Mac Cosmetics and L'oreal! I loved how my dress, makeup, and hair matched Katana Kokoro, the name of Daniel's first show which is a fusion of the Latin and the Japanese woman, taking inspiration from Japanese culture, history, romance, music, fashion, and colours!
Tuve mucha suerte de ser invitada detrás del escenario para experimentar toda la emoción del backstage mientras que me maquillaron y arreglaron el cabello con Mac Cosmetics y L'Oreal! Me encantó cómo mi vestido, el maquillaje y el cabello iban de la mano con Katana Kokoro, el nombre del primer show de Daniel que fusiona la mujer Latina con la Japonesa, inspirándose en la cultura Japonesa, su historia, romance, música, moda y color!
Front row with my dear friend Vane and the lovely Maga. The show began with twin male models dancing, martial arts style, with giant Japanese and a Costa Rican flags dramatically announcing the arrival of Daniel Moreira's glamourous, sexy, and devilishly Diva-esque dresses as they started to sashay down the catwalk!
En primera fila con mi querida amiga Vane y la linda Maga. El espectáculo comenzó con un par de modelos gemelos bailando, al estilo de las artes marciales, con banderas de Japón y Costa Rica gigantes dramáticamente anunciando la llegada de los vestidos llenos de glamour y dignos de una Diva mientras empezaron a moverse despacio por la pasarela!
One of my favourite models, Astrid Pinel, wore this gorgeous mermaid-like flowy dress.

My heart skipped a beat when this beautiful olive dress came out! Daniel says it's a dress that was inspired by a painting, such a beautiful piece of art! I loved the metallic tones, and impeccable attention to detail in the embroidery on the waist. It just looks so very flattering!
Casi se me sale el corazón cuando salió este hermoso vestido olivo! Daniel dice que es un vestido inspirado en una una pintura, una hermosa pieza de arte! Me encantaron los tonos metálicos y la impecable atención al detalle en el bordado en la cintura. Ademas, se ve sumamente favorecedor!
The show was divided into the seasons a la Japan. Starting in Spring and subtly evolving and flowing through to Winter. But of course, the beautiful feminine and dramatic wedding dresses stole the show!
El espectáculo se dividió en estaciones Japonesas. Comenzó con la primavera y sutilmente evolucionó y fluyó a través de invierno. Pero, por supuesto, los bellos vestidos de novia tan femeninos y dramáticos se robaron el show!
Another personal favourite, I need these cool, structured white trousers in my closet... badly!

Daniel's show was a resounding success, so spectacular in fact that the entire audience were on their feet when he finally appeared, it was an emotional standing ovation for such a young talented designer!
El show fue un éxito rotundo, tan espectacular, que la audiencia completa se puso de pie cuando por fin Daniel salió a despedirse, fue una emotiva ovación para un Diseñador tan talentoso y tan joven!
