Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to accelerate the growth of our company in North America in the home (retail and ecommerce) and on premise channels. Interfaces with global marketing systems team to identify North American market needs.
*Develops annual and 3 year marketing plans for systems (coffee capsules, ESE pods and machines) and implements them to increase household penetration of company systems and dynamically grow sales (35%)
*Identifies product needs and interfaces with global marketing systems team to develop for both coffee and machines; Manages drip capsule project
*Recommends volume plan and inputs data into global and local spreadsheets by sku
*Recommends pricing strategy
*Manages North American packaging for both machines and coffee to maximize effective consumer communication and ensure regulatory compliance
*Tracks competitive activity and communicates implications on company business
*Supports the sale of systems within the marketing and sales departments by working transversally and cross functionally; provides system related information to PR department to increase media coverage for systems products
*Analyzes market data (NCA, NPD, IRI, Mintel reports, etc.) and synthesizes conclusions for strategic plans
*Designs consumer market research as needed
*Develops and implements promotional strategy and plan as part of annual marketing plan each year
*Develops consumer centric positioning for systems and copy platform including all machines
*Writes briefs and interfaces with agencies to manage the development and design of marketing materials
*Collaborates with field sales team to develop key account tactics for systems (promotions, pos, etc.).
*Recommends distribution strategy

*Manages day to day systems partnership with other company from the marketing team to support the launch and ongoing management of the partnership (35%)

*Develops tracking tool for capsule revenue share with other company and finance department; Obtains sell out data from, validates it and submits it to finance for processing
*Manages development of capsule sample packaging for insertion into machines

*Develops sales materials to support launch
*Interfaces with Sales Systems Development Manager and supports training of field sales teams
*Develops advertising and promotional plan (national) including account specific plans for key customers.
*Interfaces with outside company on future machine product development; Participates in consumer research
*Develops concepts (with external design agencies) for company point (exclusive distribution concept featuring systems products) and adapts the concepts to meet trade/customer requirements (25%)
*Works with agency to build out the concepts
*Works with global team to share best practices and design ideas
*Seeks approval of global Art Director for all company point concepts
*Develops collateral, point of sale materials, videos, etc. to support sales of systems in all company points
*Interfaces with Sales Systems Development Manager to promote the sell in of company point to targeted trade customers and develops materials needed for sales
*Assist Marketing Director On Premise with the management of home systems used in rooms within the hotel channel and provides coordination with office system
*Provides input to global systems marketing team identifying product needs for N.A. market
*Develops forecasts
*Assists in the development of marketing materials for in room with Marketing Director On Premise
*Assists in the development of sales tools to present in room to prospective customers
*7 + years previous product marketing or brand management experience with a premium brand sold in housewares, department stores, gourmet or specialty stores
*Previous brand or product experience should be in premium small appliances/electrics, cookware, cutlery, or high end food business (chocolate, olive oils, etc.)
