South African farm attacks: The highest death toll since 2008
FARM ATTACKS and farm murders have increased for a sixth consecutive year in 2016. This the highest death toll since 2008 when 79 white people were murdered by black thugs in such attacks. The number of attacks on white farmers, often military-style raids, for the year now totals 16 more than last year. An Afrikaner Civil rights group AfriForum together with the Transvaal Agricultural Union of South Africa (TAU-SA) on Wednesday announced the official figures during a media conference in Pretoria.
The 2016 figure of 64 murders has only been calculated up to 30 November 2016. According to Gen. Chris van Zyl, Assistant General Manager of TAU SA, December 2016 is already showing a further increase with an estimated ratio of nearly one murder per day for the month, which makes the total farm-murder figure for 2016 the highest for the past seven years. “A further disturbing trend is the evident increasing use of technology by farm attackers. We have CCTV proof of a device used by farm attackers that represses radio and cell phone communication as well as alarms. This equipment falls in the same league as military equipment that requires an end-user certificate,” says Van Zyl. Van Zyl explained: “An increase in farm attacks, and a chance to get away with it, are greater and gangs are more organized.” He added: “Crime Intelligence should play a more prominent role.” Van Zyl said farm security patrols have increased as a result of poor security.
Ten months ago, the acting National Police Commissioner Lt-Gen. Khomotso Phahlane, contradicted earlier statements by the ruling ANC and Police Minister that these crimes will be dealt with as “ordinary crimes “ and not as a priority. A campaign for upgrading these crimes to priority status has been ongoing for a number of years now. Late last year a delegation went to the United Nations asking for international pressure on the SA government to prioritize these crimes. Lorraine Claasen, a Crime Analyst at AfriForum’s Research Institute (ANI), noted during the conference that she was able to identify certain patterns in her analysis of various farm attacks and murders. As many as 13 black attackers are deployed per incident, research shows. Also, farm attacks are undoubtedly planned in detail, says Claasen. The highest death toll in a single attack in the past year was six white people. Victims are often tortured for hours before they are killed, in many instances in front of their spouses or children. Women are invariably raped.
The attackers specifically target the farmer, or the breadwinner during an attack, Claasen noted. It is frequently the first person to be attacked or murdered and his or her dependents are often not killed. The average age of the murder victims was 56 years, the report shows. Claasen also mentioned that ANI is currently busy updating its data with the names of farm workers who were also the victims of farm murders. AfriForum is furthermore planning various campaigns and projects for 2017 to crack down on farm murders and farm attacks. Ernst Roets, AfriForum’s Deputy CEO, said during the media conference that he is especially concerned about the potential connection that exists according to him between outrageous political utterances and farm murders. “Currently a climate prevails in the country where it became popular to make racist and hate speech remarks against white people. Even though we are extremely careful making assumptions when it comes to farm murders and attacks, we view this possible trend in a very serious light.”
Roets had told sapromo.com earlier: “The real test ultimately lies in the figures. We believe that a sustainable strategy against farm murders is impossible without prioritization by the police and the availability of the necessary resources.” The damning report comes in the wake of a lengthy exposé by FWM this week, on the ongoing violence against whites on farms in South Africa. With food prices becoming increasingly onerous for many if not most South Africans, the latest report on farm murders makes for disturbing reading. South African Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti has candidly acknowledged that the billions spent in the past two decades have reduced food security because 90 percent of the farms re-distributed to black farmers are no longer productive. According to a 2015 World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) study, 95 percent of the country’s formal-sector food is produced by just 3 percent of the country’s white farmers and the government’s antipathy to white farmers and its proposed policies are driving an increasing number of them to leave the country.
Thousands of farms are currently up for sale. Vast swathes of once-productive farm land now lie fallow as a result of the ANC’s failed land-reform policies as well as the ongoing violence. While the ANC constantly berates the white farming community for “racism” without providing any proof, its own representatives are hardly the ideal role models in this regard. Commentators who speak out against the ANC’s racism against whites, often receive death threats. The Transvaal Agricultural Union has tracked farm murders since 1990 and, during this time, 1848 people have been murdered in farm attacks. According to TAU statistics this number included 1187 farmers, 490 members of their families, 147 farm employees and 24 visitors to these farms who found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. The black Marxist organisation, the South African National Civic Organization (SANCO) pretends however that farm murders are not about race. The arrest of a mentally unstable white relative of a white farmer killed at his smallholding near Thabazimbi on Friday illustrates that not all farm attacks involve race, Sanco said on Sunday. “The fact that the arrested suspect is a relative [of] the murdered 54-year-old… highlights that some callous farm murders are not politically and or racially motivated but are crimes of passion involving family disputes,” Sanco spokesperson Jabu Mahlangu said in a statement. But this murder was not included in the report released by the TAU-SA and Afriforum as a farm murder.

For decades, the country of South Africa was the focus of an international rallying cry against the injustices of “apartheid.” On June 17, 1991, South Africa’s Parliament abolished the legal framework for the practice of racial persecution. In 1994, Nelson Mandela and his Marxist African National Congress (ANC) assumed the reins of power. The international community looked away, satisfied that justice had prevailed. They continue to look away, even as South Africa has degenerated into another racist pit, best described by an Afrikaner farm owner: “It’s politically correct to kill whites these days.” In July of 2012, Dr. Gregory Stanton, head of the nonprofit group Genocide Watch, conducted a fact-finding mission in South Africa. He concluded that there is a coordinated campaign of genocide being conducted against white farmers, known as “Boers. ” “The farm murders, we have become convinced, are not accidental,” Stanton contended. “It was very clear that the massacres were not common crimes,” he added — Especially because of the absolute barbarity used against the victims. “We don’t know exactly who is planning them yet, but what we are calling for is an international investigation,” he added.

The number of farm murders, or “plaasmoorde” – as it is called in Afrikaans, is staggering. Over the last decade, it is estimated that at least 4000 Boers have been killed. Estimating the number of murders is necessary because the ANC has banned crime statistics from being compiled, claiming they “scare off foreign investment. ” Moreover, the world knows little about the savagery that accompanies those killings. Many victims, including women and infant children, are raped or tortured before they are killed. Some have boiling water poured down their throats, some are burned with hot pokers, and some are hacked to death with machetes, or disemboweled. Several others have been tied to their own cars and dragged for miles.
WHITES- ESPECIALLY THE ELDERLY- ARE BEING TARGETED FOR THE MOST BRUTAL TORTURE BY BLACK THUGS
The ANC, whose leader Jacob Zuma was reelected with over 75 per cent of the total voting delegates at the ANC National Conference held in Bloemfontein last December, denies that genocide is occurring, insisting that such attacks are part of the “larger “ crime problem. Yet a report filed by the South African Institute of Race Relations notes that while crime has ostensibly declined between 1994 and 2011, “substantial numbers” of police stations have manipulated their crime statistics. The report sub-headline underscores the corrupt nature of crime statistics in the country: “Is this a true reflection of the crime statistics in South Africa? Who knows!” it states. What is known is that the ANC celebrated in 100th year anniversary with a song led by President Zuma himself. “Dubula iBhunu” or “Shoot the Boer” was a line in the lyrics of an apartheid-era song, “Ayesaba Amagwala” (“the cowards are scared”) that violates the South Africa constitution prohibiting the “advocacy of hatred that is based on race … and that constitutes incitement to cause harm.” Yet Zuma apparently felt no compunction to refrain from singing it, because the ANC considers it an “integral part “ of the anti-apartheid movement that is part of their “heritage.”
In 2010, Julius Malema, then leader of the ANC Youth League, revived the practice of singing the song after many years. After the South Africa High Court ruled it was hate speech, the ANC appealed. Last October, the ANC and AfriForum, a lobby group that wanted the song banned from public performance, reached an out-of-court settlement. Dr. Stanton concluded that Malema’s revival of a song advocating murder moved South Africa from the fifth stage on his genocidal scale to stage six. When the South African judiciary ruled it to be unlawful hate speech, Genocide Watch put South Africa back at stage five. When Zuma was caught on tape January 2012 singing, “We are going to shoot them with the machine gun, they are going to run/You are a Boer, we are going to hit them, and you are going to run/shoot the Boer…” South Africa was raised to stage six once again. Stage six is known as Preparation: “Victims are identified and separated out because of their ethnic or religious identity. Death lists are drawn up. Members of victim groups are forced to wear identifying symbols. Their property is expropriated. They are often segregated into ghettoes, deported into concentration camps, or confined to a famine-struck region and starved.” The sixth stage is followed by stage seven: Extermination.

In December, more than 200 protesters of the Afrikaner civil rights group AfriForum, which included families of murdered farmers and survivors of farm attacks, marched in the capital city of Pretoria. They were commemorating the second anniversary of the murders of farm caretaker Attie Potgieter and his family. Potgieter was stabbed and hacked 151 times with a knife, a fork, and a machete, while his wife and two-year-old daughter were forced to watch. They were then executed with shots to the head. “If you kill a rhinoceros in South Africa, you get more time in jail then if you kill a person,” said Susan Nortje, 26, Mrs. Potgieter’s younger sister. “I don’t think people understand. We must show people what’s really happening.” BUT in a semi-racist statement police spokesman Zweli Mnisi accused the protesters of “grandstanding.” “They are only representing people based on their color,” he contended. “For us, racializing crime is problematic. You can’t have a separate category that says, farmers are the special golden boys and girls. You end up saying the life of a white person is more important. You cannot do this,” he added.
Yet according to Johan Burger, a senior researcher with the Pretoria-based Institute for Security Studies‘ crime and justice program, white farmers’ concerns are legitimately “special.” He reveals that it is now twice as dangerous to be a farmer in South Africa than a police officer. The overall murder rate in the nation is 31.9 per 100,000 people, 30 times that of Great Britain. For police it’s 51 out of 100,000. For farmers, who are overwhelmingly white, the rate soars to 99 out 100,000. Burger rejects the notion that such a rate constitutes genocide–even as he concedes that many murderers “take out their hatred for all those past wrongs, and show who’s in control now.”

In 2010, the ANC-led regime changed the Firearms Registration Act, demanding that all legal guns be re-registered by July 31, 2011. In the process of re-registration, more than half the applicants were turned down, and 90 percent were turned down again on appeal. Thus, white farm families were forced to relinquish their last line of defense against the tens of thousands of black criminal gangs roaming the countryside-armed with AK47s. and as Genocide Watch noted on its website last July one more step was taken as well. “The government has disbanded the commando units of white farmers that once protected their farms, and has passed laws to confiscate the farmers’ weapons,” it reported. “Disarmament of a targeted group is one of the surest early warning signs of future genocidal killings.”
There is also a movement, much like the one that occurred in Zimbabwe, to confiscate white farmers‘ land. Julius Malema led the charge, saying all whites are criminals, and that ANC Youth League members were going to take all the land back ” without compensation,” unless farmers relinquish 80 percent of it. At a conference in 2011, Malema reiterated his plans, contending that the nation’s “willing buyer, willing seller” program, aimed at redistributing 30 percent of white-owned land to blacks within the first five years of the country’s democracy (a deadline later shifted to 2014, and then to 2025), wasn’t working. “You can never be diplomatic about willing-buyer, willing-seller. It has failed. You have not come with an alternative,” said Mr. Malema at the time. “We are giving you an alternative; we must take the land without payment.” That is a recipe for famine, as revealed by Rural Development and Land Reform Minister Gugile Nkwinti. In 2009, he told Parliament that more than half of the farms purchased for black farmers, at a cost of $891 million in government outlays, had either failed or were “declining.”

Yet ANC president Zuma remains undeterred. “The structure of the apartheid economy has remained largely intact,” Mr. Zuma said, in a speech given June 26, 2012 to thousands of delegates at ANC’s policy conference, held every five years, where the party’s pre-presidential election platform is discussed. “The ownership of the economy is still primarily in the hands of white males, as it has always been.” Embedded in that platform is the idea that making peace with white South Africans following the end of “apartheid ” has “hampered” the transfer of wealth to black South Africans. Thus, a “second transition,” was proposed, which even the see-no-progressive-evil New York Times was forced to concede represents a “sharp leftward shift for the A.N.C., which despite its roots has largely backed a free-market economy with minimal state intervention.” Stanton sees a bigger picture. In a speech in Pretoria, organized by the Transvaal Agricultural Union, Stanton claimed the ANC was demonizing white farmers, who have been in South Africa since the 1600s, by calling them “settlers.” A Genocide Watch reports reveals the strategy behind those efforts. “High-ranking ANC government officials who continuously refer to Whites as ‘settlers’ and ‘colonialists of a special type’ are using racial epithets in a campaign of state-sponsored dehumanization of the White population as a whole,” it stated. “They sanction gang-organized hate crimes against Whites, with the goal of terrorizing Whites through fear of genocidal annihilation.”
ANC President Jacob Zuma continues to fan the flames of racial division. Last December, he admonished black South Africans for being dog owners, saying that doing so amounts to copying white culture. Zuma’s office contended the message was aimed at “the need to decolonize the African mind post-liberation.” It is a post-liberation effort that remains alarmingly on track to emulate all the other historically blood-soaked efforts by Marxists, who invariably need an enemy at whom to direct their anger. White African farmers are that enemy. Pieter Mulder,previous leader of political party FF Plus and previous deputy agriculture minister, who was focused on the excesses of Julius Malema a year and a half ago, nevertheless offered an inadvertently prescient statement about his country’s future. After noting that Malema and his ilk were attempting to take the country “back to the period before 1994 when violence and even the possibility of a civil war was part of the South African debate” he revealed why such forces remain seemingly unstoppable. “We don’t have a Mandela that stands up and says: ‘This is wrong,'” he warned.
FOOD PRODUCTION IN SOUTH AFRICA ARE DECLINING
Declining farming profitability and water scarcity (drought, declining rainfall or over-demand for water) has left South Africa with less than two-thirds of the number of farms it had in the early 1990s. In many instances the lost farms have been changed to other land uses, or consolidated into larger farming units to achieve effective economies of scale. Although the area under maize, wheat and dairy (5% of the national herd) has decreased significantly over the last 20 years (Agricultural Statistics, 2008), production remains relatively constant, indicating an increasing trend in intensified production. In many instances the irresponsible actions of the ruling regime in South Africa also contributed to the declining food security. Thousands of productive white farms are being sold to non-productive black farmers- and without any education or experience- most of these productive farms- like Zimbabwe- become derelict and non-productive. Add to that the increase of politically instigated murders on productive white farmers- and the picture really becomes a very bleak outlook.
South Africa faces a 5 million-ton maize shortage as the drought tightens its grip and experts are warning that the country is at risk of becoming a grain importer. University of the Free State agriculture economist Johan Willemse said the winter crop would be 5 million tons less than was needed. “It is a dire situation … the price of white maize has already doubled. Another problem is that in 2016-2017 there will not be enough white maize. People will not have sufficient food and maize meal will be expensive,” Willemse said. “Farmers are having huge losses. They cannot get credit to plant new crops so we run the risk of becoming an importer of grains”. Willemse said last year South Africa imported a million tons of yellow maize and 80000t of white maize from Mexico and Zambia.
He said a statement by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister, Senzeni Zokwana in Pretoria to the effect that South Africa would have to import maize because there was not enough stored to last until May was misleading because the country was already importing maize. After the briefing Zokwana told The Times: “The rain has not been coming to enable farmers to plant . we might be compelled to import maize around May and June.” Zokwana said his department had teamed up with other government departments to assess the effects of the drought and how much maize would have to be imported. “We do not know what is planted now and how much we will need to import. We need to [talk to grain farmers’ association] Grain SA,” said Zokwana. Zokwana said R226 million had been allocated to help farmers buy feed for livestock and establish alternative water sources. Yet the horrendous murders and land-garb idiocracy continues unchallenged- much to the peril of most consumers in South Africa. According to the ANC’s 105th anniversary speech by Jacob Zuma at the party’s celebrations in Soweto.- he again re-iterated that ” The government will this year be more aggressive in dealing with land reform and redistribution”– a certain disaster for food security in South Africa- and yet another land-grab exercise that were aimed at white productive farmers.

The Penny Sparrow incident marked the beginning of the media “racist” onslaught against white conservative “Afrikaners.” After the Penny Sparrow debacle- a quick succession of “racism” attacks by the media followed with one-after-the-other so-called “ racism” case hitting the communist headlines through-out 2016. Scarcely have 2017 begin- or there they start again!
In the latest willful malicious attack a white farmer was attending a meeting . After the meeting – as he was about to leave- a colored lady asked him to help her niece getting a lift to a destination. The lady herself requested to sit on the back of the pick-up because it was a very hot day- and she preferred the cool wind at the back. Unfortunately- as it turned out later- there were a crate on the back of the pick-up used to weigh animals. The white farmer pointed this out to the lady- but she insist and said she doesn’t mind sitting in the cage. Now one must take note that this cage was open- no locks, no barbed wire – nothing. Thus the lady was free to open the cage at will any time she feels like it. So off they went. As the unforeseen (but expected) scenario played out- a black motorist saw this- and took a picture what appeared to be a “hapless” colored lady “forced” and locked-up in a cage on the back of yet another :racist” white “Boer.” IMMEDIATELY the black racist himself- posted this on social media- and as expected- it went “viral.” Nobody even stopped and asked what was the real truth behind the incident- not even anti-white butt-kissing liberal warmongers like Hellen Zille– who also had her bit of estrogen sprayed on the social deck.

They way in which he gave the lift is questionable but read on. This happened on Tuesday. On Thursday the photo reaches eblockwatch and we decide to find out why the lady was in a cage. She jumped on the back and climbed into the cage. The owner asked her if she wanted to sit in front and she said no. He then dropped her off in town. She wave thank you to him and he drove off. He says that he often gives lifts to people because he feels sorry for them and he feels that he is building goodwill in South Africa by assisting where we can. eblockwatch Tracked down the owner and asked him whats up. He said, “strange thing”. The police were at his office and took a picture of his pick-up – then they asked to see the lady. They said that they wanted to see her alive giving the guy quite a fright. He then said he was going to the clinic to get her details. From there we are not too sure how he tracked her down but he did. We then suggested that he takes a video of her to prove to the cops that she was alive. So the video was made not about the fact that she was on the back of the pick-up- but for proof that their was no foul play and that she was alive. YET the distorted lie and demonizing of that white farmer goes on and on-irrespective that the colored lady admitted there were no foul play involved. BUT that is the level of psychopathic race sickness that the majority in South Africa portray. AND the blame for this majority racist attitude in South Africa can be squarely laid on the doorstep of the communist Media 24 newspapers – and the ANC despots. BUT when blacks themselves are turning into the WORST brutal racism against their own kind- like THIS video shows…not a word from our anti-white news vultures!

THIS again comes to show that the mind of the South African public are so profoundly poisoned by the villainous communists in control and their lap-dog media – that the umpteen brutal assaults and murders by black thugs against whites are deemed a much lesser crime than having any non-white sitting on the back of a pick-up in yet another so-called “racist” incident. The picture should be quite clear to the world by now- that “racism” only is used to keep on demonizing the white Afrikaner in order to promote the genocide. Racism in South Africa is not promoted by the white Afrikaners who today- are totally stripped of all their human rights , persecuted simply for being white, discriminated against and even impoverished by sick racist laws such as BEEE- but factually racism is very much promoted and kept alive by the communist regime who are the only ones benefiting the most from it. In South Africa, when black people incite the slaughter and rape of white people, there are still many mainstream commentators and media personalities who would respond by discussing how “racist “ whites are. Penny Sparrow (who was also ushered into this interview), for example, has received near celebrity status among the anti-white race merchants. Yes, what she said was racist and should be condemned. Calling for whites to be massacred however, is exponentially worse than referring to people who litter on the beachfront as monkeys. The debate on racism in South Africa is however so scewed that when two white people go to a private fancy dress party dressed as Venus and Serena Williams it becomes a national crisis. When the extermination of white people is propagated, on the other hand, it’s glossed over.
