JOHANNESBURG-March 30 2015: The body of a Boksburg father-of-three who went missing on Valentine’s Day has been found in a mortuary. Netwerk24’s Vania van der Heever reported on Monday that the family of Wayne Alberts, 36, is now in mourning after confirmation of his death. Alberts disappeared while on his way to his parents’ house on 14 February. A missing persons report was filed and his family searched for him for nearly seven weeks, even employed a private investigator. A police sergeant at the Boksburg North police told News24 that police searched the local hospitals and mortuary along with Alberts’s family, but did not find him. It is believed Alberts was killed on the night of his disappearance, and his body was dumped near a reservoir in Vereeniging. A security guard found the body the next day, and it was taken to a mortuary in Sebokeng where it lay unclaimed.

POTCHEFSTROOM – 30 Maart 2015: ’n 22-jarige blanke man wat anoniem wil bly op versoek is verlede week aangerand, vasgebind en met ’n oordosis heroïen ingespuit in ’n bos naby die treinspoor op die Bult van Wes-Transvaal deur swart kriminele . Volgens sy ma het ‘n vriend van haar seun op Maandag 30 Maart 2015 omstreeks 18:00 by die huis aangekom en geskree ” Kom help, hy het ‘ge-overdose”. Sy het haar man gekontak om ’n ambulans te ontbied en is saam met haar dogter na waar haar seun gelê het. Hulle het hom blykbaar in ’n bos naby aan die spoorlyn in die Bult-omgewing gevind, met sy hande en voete vasgebind. Hy was blykbaar in sy hoofslagaar ingespuit en het glad nie gereageer nie. Die ma kon blykbaar gelukkig ’n polisievoertuig wat op patrollie was voorkeer om te help. Teen daardie tyd was die ER24 ambulans egter ook al op die toneel. Hulle vermoed dat sy aanranders hom geslaan het terwyl hy gelê het, hom toe ingespuit en vasgemaak en toe sy geld gesteel het. Die ER24 ambulans het hom Potchefstroom Hospitaal toe geneem waar hy in die hoësorgeenheid opgeneem is. Volgens sy ouers is sy neus gebreek en twee van sy ribbes is sleg gekneus. Hy het ook ’n snywond agter aan sy kop. Terwyl hy in die hospitaal was het sy hart vier keer gaan staan. Sy ouers was erg getraumatiseerd om hulle seun so te sien. Sy het gehuil en geskree toe sy haar seun sien, want hy het blykbaar sy eie slym begin sluk en blou om sy mond begin word. Die jong man het dit egter oorleef en is nou buite gevaar. Die familie het egter steeds vrae wat nie beantwoord is nie. Hulle weet steeds nie hoe en hoekom dit met hulle seun gebeur het nie. Volgens die pa kan sy seun niks oor die voorval onthou nie, die aanvallers het weggekom met R250.

JOHANNESBURG – April 01 2015: A White woman has been shot and wounded in an armed robbery in Fourways, North of Johannesburg. It’s understood three black thugs broke into her home on Wednesday afternoon. Police said the suspects are believed to have followed her home from Fourways Mall. EmergiMed’s Danielle Dooley said, “The lady sustained a gunshot wound and is being treated. She will be transported to hospital for further medical treatment.” No arrests have yet been made.

BOKSBURG- April 02 2015: Lieut Juanita Coetzer, spokesperson of the Boksburg Norh SAPS, confirmed the incident. “It appears the murder is linked to a possible house robbery during which the white owner was killed.” A source, who wished to remain anonymous, told the Advertiser the man was found lying on the floor with both his hands and feet tied. Although the cause of death is unknown, the source told the Advertiser that it appears as if the man might have been strangled. It is not clear if anything was stolen from the house. No forced entry was reported as the front door and the main gate were found open when the man’s wife arrived home. No suspects have been arrested.

CAPE TOWN- (Kraaifontein) – April 03 2015:Tonight at appr. 20:40 – the white security guard of BOLAND SECURITY- Mr. Hennie Jacobs- was shot 3 times in the head by black thugs during an armed robbery at the TOPS liqueur store at the SPAR shopping complex in Kraaifontein Cape Town. He responded to an alarm at the store. He died on the scene. Another white employee also was shot as he took cash to the SPAR shopping center- but his condition is still unclear. NYLSTROOM- April 04 2015: Another white farmer- Bossie Bardenhorst- was murdered by black thugs on his farm near Kranskop in the Nylstroom region. According to a police spokes person- Col. Ronel Otto- Badenhorst’s body was found on Saturday- but according to forensics- he already appear to been murdered 3 days before. Badenhost stayed alone on his farm. He died due to a head wound.A black thug by the name of Moses Vusi Mziza (picture above) are sought for the attack. No further details are available.

RANDFONTEIN- April 05 2015: Randfontein Police confirmed the Culemborg Park house robbery that took place on Easter Sunday (5 April) at approximately 3am where a 48-year-old white man was shot dead by black thugs. According to Captain Appel Ernst, spokesperson for the Randfontein Police, “A family in Culemborg Park was overpowered by armed suspects. It is alleged that four suspects gained entry to the house by breaking the burglar proof at a window. During this crime, the suspects allegedly shot a 48-year-old man, fatally wounding him,” said Ernst. She continues to say that the 48-year-old man’s brother-in-law was also injured as he was stabbed during the robbery. “The suspect then fled the scene. The family is severely traumatised,” she concludes. According to Gerda Havenga, wife of 48-year-old deceased, Marius du Toit, “He was shot in front of his 15-year-old son.” Du Toit’s wife describes his as being out going and having many friends, from this it is clear that he will be missed by many. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 2pm at the Maranatha Service Centre Plot 37 in Sixth Street Middelvlei. Warrant Officer Thabiso Duiker is the investigating officer and can be contacted should anyone have any information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect. He can be contacted on 011 278 8100.

The decomposed body of a white woman was found hanging in bushes in Athlone Park,” confirmed Toti SAPS communications officer, Capt Charlene van der Spuy. BIRDSWOOD ( Natal)- April 07 2015: Gawie Stolz was shot in the cheek and chest by black thugs after going outside to check the barking of dogs just before 10pm. The victim of a shooting during a robbery at a Birdswood complex last night is reportedly out of danger at Ngwelezana Hospital. In the second incident with an hour of each other, Gawie Stolz was shot in the cheek and chest after going outside to check the barking of dogs just before 10pm. The black intruders, who fled the scene at Puffback Parlor, earlier accosted occupants of a flat at Pelican Pride. Family members were forced at gunpoint to lie on the ground and were robbed of personal possessions, while the key to a safe was also demanded. Despite speedy reaction from the neighborhood street groups, Chubb Security and the SAPS, the gang evaded arrest. It is believed to comprise four members, one with shoulder length dreadlocks, and they may be driving a blue Opel with GP registration. The modus operandi is similar to crimes committed in Wildenweide and Brackenham. Birdswood residents are hoping that three thugs caught attempting yet another break-in on Wednesday morning are the ones responsible for the Tuesday night shooting, but police have yet to confirm this. Meanwhile, the Birdswood CPF has called on members to continue to pray for Stolz’s recovery.

BIRDSWOOD- April 07 2015: Gawie Stoltz (39), who was shot twice during a robbery in Birdswood on 7 April, not only survived the close call, but was out of hospital in just four days. One bullet entered his left cheek and exited through his neck, while the other penetrated his chest and is still lodged in his rib cage after surgeons decided it would be too dangerous to remove the slug. This is not a first for Gawie, as 10 years ago he was wounded in a drive-by shooting in Alton and that bullet remains in his left shoulder to this day. At least 11 shots were fired at Gawie by black thugs in the Birdswood attack, after he went out to investigate noises in his yard. ‘There were three of them and they were apparently using my yard as an escape route after earlier entering and robbing another home in the suburb. ‘Ironically, I had donated blood the week before, but in much friendlier circumstances!’ Gawie is grateful to his friend Leon Vorster, who raced him to Netcare The Bay Hospital, and to the doctor and staff at the casualty department who stabilized him before he was taken to Ngwelezana Hospital. ‘I was given excellent care at Ngelezana, for which I am grateful. ‘I also thank my wife, Shannon and family and friends, the Birdswood CPF and all those who prayed for me.’

PUMULA BEACH ( Natal)- April 08 2015: A white man who was enjoying holiday time with his family on Pumula beach was stabbed in the face this afternoon. All security units, police and paramedics responded within minutes, as did crime watch groups from Hibberdene to Umtentweni. The man has had to receive further medical treatment. The Port Shepstone K9 unit together with the Southport police station commander, Captain Petros Nkomo are heading up the search for the two black suspects, who are still at large. It is believed the suspects are aged between 17 and 20 years. One of the thugs is wearing black tracksuit pants with a white stripe and black top, while the other is wearing a reddish T-shirt. They are thought to have fled towards the Melville/Sunwich Port area. The thugs apparently stole three bags – pink, beige and orange – which contained a camera with lens,a video camera, car keys and a cellphone. Anyone who spots these men is asked to call 10111 immediately. A full police statement is await.

DURBAN – April 09 2015: A Waterfall white family had to undergo trauma counseling on Thursday after three armed black thugs tied them up and terrorized them. The homeowner had stepped out of his house to have a smoke just after midnight on Thursday when the thugs pounced. His wife and son were forced to come out of their rooms after the gang threatened to kill the homeowner. The gang threatened to hurt the family’s new-born baby. The thugs ransacked the house in Cursonia Place, Forest Hills, Waterfall, and fled with two cars from the garage. A private security company followed up leads and by late afternoon had recovered the stolen items. Police spokesman, Major Thulani Zwane, said a 32-year-old white man and his family were held at gunpoint. “They robbed them of their household items and fled in the victim’s vehicles. Stolen items were later recovered in Wyebank. The cars were also found abandoned in Mariannhill. No arrest has been made.” The family, who wanted to remain anonymous, told Secure Link Security spokesman, Steven King, that the father did not want to smoke inside the house because they had a new-born baby. “He stepped out and while smoking, saw three men in his yard. He ran into his house, but the men caught him and tackled him to the ground. His wife and son locked themselves in the room. But the thugs threatened to shoot the husband if they did not come out. They had to comply,” King said. The family were allowed to put their baby into a stroller before their hands and legs were bound with neck ties. The thugs took four hours in the house searching for anything of value. The loaded the items into the family Audi and VW Polo. They took laptops, cellphones, playstation games and flat screen TV. “The thugs took ATM cards,” King added. “They threatened to hurt the baby if they were given the wrong ATM pin codes. They left at 6.30am. I am not sure if the thugs withdrew any money from their accounts. We arranged for trauma counseling for the family.” Local security company, Pro Force, teamed up with Metro Police K9 unit and Tracker to trace the whereabouts of the gang. They found most of the stolen items in a house in Wyebank. A house robbery case was opened at Hillcrest police station. King said this was the tenth house robbery in the area in six months. He urged homeowners to lock their doors and close their windows at night. “Curtains must be drawn and blinds closed. The robbers sneak onto the property and observe everything. If you hear a noise, alert the police or your security company,” King said.

HEIDELBERG- April 09 2015: Three black thugs targeted two units in a complex in Fenter Street on April 9 at around 12:35. They broke open the front door of the neighbor’s house and stole computers and electrical equipment. They then moved on to the next house where the white teenager was home alone. She heard the noise when they broke open the front door and scrambled to hide under the bed. One of the thugs knelt next to the bed while he went through the night stand. He placed his gun on the floor next to the girl but luckily did not see her. The girl managed to call for help after they left. The thugs were traveling in a black Volkswagen Polo or Passat.
POLOKWANE – April 10 2015: A 29-year-old white woman has been shot an killed in an attempted house robbery in Polokwane on Friday night. Polokwane Police spokesperson Captain Ntobeng Phala said the husband arrived home between half past five and six o’ clock in the evening and found his wife in a pool of blood. He said there was no visible signs of forced entry in to the home. “Following the reports at our disposal is that some thugs s entered the house and shot the woman once in the face.” “A case of murder is being investigted by the Westenburg Police. No one has been arrested and we are continuing with our investigations.” Captain Phala said nothing was taken from the home.

VLAKPLAAS- April 11 2015: The police are on a manhunt, after two black thugs stormed into a house on the Vlakplaas smallholding and raped a white woman in the early hours of Sunday morning, police said.Spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said a woman was raped when two thugs broke into her house on Sunday. “It is believed the men broke into the house at about 02:45 and found the 31-year-old woman sleeping in her bedroom. They pointed a firearm at her and ordered her to undress. One man raped her and there-after they took her Blackberry cellphone, clothing and jewellery and fled the scene. The items are estimated to a value of R5 000,” he said. A case of house robbery and rape was opened at Erasmia police for investigation. No arrests have been made. “We appeal to the public or any person with information that can lead to the arrest of the perpetrators to contact their nearest police station or Crime Stop on 08600 10111,” Moloto said.

FLORENTIA- April 11 2015: The latest case of home assault resulted in the hospitalisation of Tiny Serrurier (83). The domestic worker, Anna, was also assaulted on their premises in Susanna Road, Florentia. According to Tiny’s daughter-in-law Pearl, the workers were there the day before; they gained access to the property and had a look around. The next day they returned. They told Tiny they were planning to put in new water pipes in the area. At first she did not want to allow them to enter, but proceeded to phone the number listed in the telephone book for the Ekurhuleni Metro Municipality (EMM). The woman who answered the phone set her mind at ease and told her that they do have people working in her area.Pearl further recounts how they have a suspicion that it might have been foreign nationals and not local men posing as municipal workers, because their accent did not sound local to their mother. There were two black men, one tall and one short. They wore reflective jackets the first day they entered her property, but Tiny cannot recall if it had any signification on it. The second day they entered they took photos of the property and explained that the photos taken on their smart phone goes directly to the department to plan the location of the water pipes. The thug then told Tiny they need to view the bathroom in the main house. Here they attacked her, tied her up and threw her into a bedroom. After a while Tiny thought they had left and went to the kitchen to find a knife or scissors to cut the ties around her wrists. At that stage they have not left yet, and saw Tiny with the knife in her hand. They made a comment asking her if she was going to stab them now, and then harassed her again and took her to the room. Pearl was the second person who was on the scene after the assault. Tiny and Anna were lucky that a neighbour came home earlier and heard their screams for help. At that stage they had both been tied up for at least three hours. Tiny has been released from hospital and is recovering at a family member’s home. She would like to thank the paramedic staff and thestaff at the Union Hospital, especially the staff at casualty who took great care of her.

PRETORIA- April 12 2015: My beautiful, fragile daughter was hijacked on JG Strijdom ave at 8.20am on Sunday. She was abducted and assaulted and held for ransom by four burly men who wore balaclavas and gloves. She was on her way to Clearwater Mall. There was little traffic. When she stopped at a traffic light they broke her window with a brick they kept with them to beat her. They jumped into the car and commanded her to drive. BETHAL- April 13 2015: Impoverished Afrikaner Tyron van Niekerk who earns cash as a car-guard at a parking lot in Bethal sustains bad eye-injury from attack with bricks by 3 black thugs while he was walking home. Many hundreds of thousands of Afrikaners are impoverished and try desperately to stay alive by doing such jobs and Mr van Niekerk is one of them. The sole reason for their impoverishment is the ANC-regime’s ‘Black Economic Empowerment BEE’ laws which bans its 3,5-million white minority from the job market in South Africa. Mr Van Niekerk was walking in Station Road near the Midnight petrol station when he was hit by a brick in his left eye which seemed to be coming from nowhere. One black thug had hit him with a brick and two other black thugs held him down while one held a knife to his throat. They took his earnings (about R600 which amounts to about 30 Euros) also took a bag with food from him. They left his cellphone. Vera Routledge is Dinsdagaand dood in haar huis aangetref. Haar hande en voete was vasgebind en sy is twee keer met ’n skerp voorwerp in die bors gesteek. Routledge is in Skotland gebore en woon die afgelope 56 jaar in Suid-Afrika. Haar bure het Dinsdag onraad vermoed toe hulle sien haar hek staan oop en haar motor is weg. Julie Routledge het gesê haar skoonma het vir haar lewe gevrees en wou haar huis verkoop en na ’n aftreeoord trek. Swart diewe het verskeie keer probeer om by haar huis in te breek. “My skoonma los nooit haar hek oop nie. Toe die buurvrou bel, het sy gesê die diefweringhek is gesluit, maar my skoonma se deur staan oop en haar motor is weg. “Dit is baie ongewoon en ons het onmiddellik onraad vermoed. “Die bure het toe gevra of hulle die hek kan oopbreek. Jannie se vrou, Lezel, het glo van die werk af gekom, die elektroniese hek oopgemaak en die erf binnegery. Daar het sy haar man met die twee kriminele in die oprit gesien. Die kriminele het drie skote afgevuur, waarvan twee Jannie in die maag en sy getref het. Die kriminele het in ’n wegkommotor, ‘n silwer VW Polo, gespring en gevlug. Jannie is na die hospitaal gehaas, maar is met sy aankoms dood verklaar. Mohlala het gesê polisielede is steeds op die toneel om die saak te ondersoek. Hy het bevestig dat niks gesteel is nie. ? Saak van moord is aanhangig gemaak. Jan van der Schyff, Jannie se pa, het Woensdagoggend aan Maroela Media gesê hy is op pad na Delmas. VAN DYK PARK ( Boksburg)April 14 2015: A 70-year-old white Van Dyk Park woman was found lying in a pool of blood in her home on Tuesday night, April 14. This is after she was stabbed to death during a robbery by black thugs at her house. Gauteng police spokesperson Col Lungelo Dlamini said the woman was stabbed twice in the chest and was discovered by her neighbour. Dlamini said that the woman lived alone in her house. The incident happened around 7.30pm. “When the police arrived, the woman was already dead and her VW Golf 1 was missing. Nothing is the house, however, was taken,” said Dlamini. “The matter is going to be investigated because at this point, we don’t know the motive behind the killing.” No one has been arrested.

Thomas Mufamadi, polisiewoordvoerder, het Vrydagmiddag aan Maroela Media gesê ? verbyganger het op haar liggaam, wat in ’n kombers toegedraai was, afgekom. “Haar liggaam is omstreeks 10:00 in die veld langs Freddie Berghstraat in Danville gevind,” het Mufamadi gesê. Mufamadi het gesê ? nadoodse ondersoek gaan gedoen word om te bepaal hoe sy vermoor is. Niemand is nog in verband met die voorval in hegtenis geneem nie. NELSPRUIT- April 17 2015: “I want to shoot someone before I go.” These were the harsh words that a black thug used in conversation with a local family and their friends during a vicious three-hour attack at Eco Eden Bush Lodge on Friday last week. Around 22:00 Mr Hannes de Lange was saying goodbye to a guest, Mr Andrew Kay who had joined them for a braai earlier. As Kay was about to leave, they were overpowered by five balaclava-clad, armed black thugs who emerged from the bush. Kay and De Lange were forced back into the house. De Lange’s wife, Charmaine and his daughter had just gone to bed, while his son and Kay’s son were playing TV games. Charmaine is the owner of the lodge. With hands tied with anything the thugs could find, Hannes and Kay lay helpless on the floor. The two 10-year-old boys, two of the lodge’s female workers, and two guests at the lodge were next to be tied up and forced to the floor. The guests had just returned from a holiday in Mozambique and were socialising with them. The gang immediately started to ask where the cash was being kept and who else was in the house. There wasn’t any cash, but the attackers didn’t believe them. They woke up Charmaine and her daughter. “Please stand up ma’am,” one told them while carefully shaking their shoulders. The daughter thought it was her dad saying goodnight. The perpetrator shouted at her and forced her to comply. She and her daughter were also tied up. When Charmaine woke up she reached for the keys to the safe, which agitated one of the suspects, causing him to cock the gun and point it. They asked her where the safe was. She showed it to them but there was no cash inside. They kept on thinking that there was another one somewhere and continued to assault her with their fists and a crowbar, and threatened to kill her. “Throw her into the pool and let her die,” one of the thugs told another. “Two of them were very aggressive, but the other three weren’t,” Charmaine said. With Charmaine’s hands now also tied and forced to the floor, they ransacked the house in search of cash and other valuables. “They were incredibly calm, and knew exactly what they were doing,” she said. “Everything will be okay, don’t worry. Just keep calm and don’t move,” Hannes told his family while they were on the ice-cold stone floor, praying not to be harmed. The lodge workers asked the thugs to please just give them blankets, after which they gave each a duvet and a pillow. “I tried not to look at the attackers,” said Hannes. Their son was then also threatened, and asked “do you love your dad?”, in order to get him to tell them where the money was kept. They tried to intimidate the rest of the victims, when Charamine told them, “Look me in the eye, we don’t have cash on the premises,” after which she was assaulted further. They took a panga and put it on their throats and then their heads. “They physically and emotionally tried to crack us,” she added. They kicked Charmaine while she was on the floor. She then had a panic attack. “Charmaine was suffocating next to me, and there was nothing I could do about it,” Hannes recalled. It’s only then when the suspects decided to leave. “We were never sure whether or not they had left, it just became quite,” he added. Charmaine’s panic attack subsided. After waiting about 15 minutes to make sure the perpetrators left, the De Langes daughter managed to grip a knife with her teeth. They cut one another loose. Hannes then went for help on his motorcycle. Capt Dawie Pretorius, local spokesman for the SAPS, said the attackers had fled the scene with two vehicles, but later abandoned one. Hannes said one of the cars had been recovered in KaBokweni. The SAPS, along with Hi-Tech Security Nelspruit and Bossies Community Justice were quick to arrive at the scene. In 2000, Hannes’ brother was murdered in a similar crime. A case of house robbery is being investigated.

Louis vd Westhuizen en sy vrou is vanoggend op hul plaas aangeval. ‘N Zimbabwe man wat gister weg gehardloop het tydens ‘n arrestasie deur die SAP, het vanoggend by Mnr. vd Westhuizen se plaas weg gekruip in ‘n kookhuis. Die huis bediende het kom vertel. Mnr. vd Westhuizen het die Speurhoof op Naboomspruit gekontak en hom ingelig van die man se teenwoordigheid op die plaas. Hierna is Mnr. vd Westhuizen en sy vrou na buite met die pistool in die hand om die booswig te gaan soek. By die kookhuis het die verdagte Mnr. vd Westhuizen oorval en ‘n gestoei het plaasgevind. In die proses van stoei het die pistool “verloor“, maar vd Westhuizen het dit weer bekom en ‘n skoot afgevuur. Die verdagte is gewond in die skouer en die het toe op die vlug geslaan. Die Spoorsnyers is ontbied, asook lede van Kol Sakkie se span (o.a. A/O Barend van Wyk). Met ons aankoms het ons die verdagte ongeveer 200m vanaf die plaasopstal gevind waar hy deur boere van die omgewing aangehou is. Met nadere ondersoek, het Die Spoorsnyers kon bepaal, dat die verdagte een van ‘n bende is wat deur die SAP gesoek word in plaasaanvalle in die Naboomspruit/Vaalwater omgewing. Die verdagte is ‘n ene Motaviri. Hy en sy bende word gesoek vir o.a. die aanval op die Naude egpaar te Tobias en ‘n aanval op ‘n plaas arbeider (wat geiselaar gehou is vir 2 dae, terwyl die booswigte sy baas se huis gestroop het). Ons het vroeëer op hierdie blad oor die insidente berig. So ja, nou sal dit ook weer rustiger gaan in hierdie omgewing. Naboomspruit speurders o.l.v. Kapt. Sekanka sal nou die res doen. Dankie vir A/O’s Barend van Wyk en Gielie Herbs (honde eenheid), asook vir Mnr. Joe Chauke (voormalige Moord en Roof lid) en die SAP van Naboomspruit vir uitstekende ondersoek werk. Die klagte was gou bygewoon deur die SAP en boere het die paaie vinnig gedomineer.

PORT ELIZABETH- 19 April 2015: Plaasmoord PE. Boer se tong glo uitgesny in uiters wrede moord. Drie in hof môre. Die gewelddadige moord Sondagnag op ’n “brose” Addo-boer in die Sondagsriviervallei het inwoners verbysterd van skok laat steier. Die lyk van Alan Clarke (62), wat alleen op die plaas Sundowner Farms Lucern Dealer in Sunlands gewoon het, is Maandagoggend vroeg langs ’n pad in Groenbossies in Port Elizabeth gekry. Robert, Alan se broer, het Maandag gesê hy vermoed Alan se moordenaars was aan hom bekend. “Alan het drie aggressiewe honde op die plaas wat nie vreemdelinge op die erf toelaat nie,” het Robert gesê. Bloedkolle wat daarop dui dat daar ’n worsteling was, was Maandag plek-plek op die gras van die erf te sien. Alan se kunstande en vermoedelik sy tong is in ’n plas bloed buite sy huis gevind. Sakelui, gemeenskapsleiers, vriende en familie was Maandag nog so geskok oor die wreedheid van die moord dat die emosies hoog geloop het. “Ek is geskok. Alan was twee keer per week hier in my slaghuis. Ek ken hom al nege jaar lank. Hy was ’n baie private mens, maar hy was ’n brose man en altyd vriendelik,” het Johan Swart, eienaar van Karoo Slaghuis in Kirkwood, gesê. “Ek kon dit nie glo nie, alles is so onwerklik,” het Robert ook Maandagmiddag gesê. Robert is Maandag omstreeks 01:00 deur die polisie by sy huis in Port Elizabeth wakker geklop om hom oor sy broer se grys bakkie uit te vra. “Die polisie het die verbintenis tussen ons glo gemaak met een van my kasregisterstrokies wat in Alan se bakkie was. “Kort nadat die polisie vir my vertel het van Alan se bebloede bakkie en sy lyk wat in Port Elizabeth gekry is, het ek na die toneel in Groenbossies gejaag. “Ek verstaan hulle het Alan na ’n bank geneem om geld te trek, maar hoe my broer sonder sy tong sy kode kon sê, weet ek nie.” Volgens Robert is die meeste van die laaie in die huis uitgetrek en omgekeer. “Ons vermoed die kriminele het geglo hier is geld, aangesien Alan onlangs sy plaas, behalwe die deel waarop sy huis is, verkoop het.” Sers. Majola Nkohli, polisiewoordvoerder, het gesê die polisie is deur lede van ’n sekerheidsmaatskappy in kennis gestel toe ’n grys bakkie, met bloed daarin en ’n pistool op die bak, by ’n vulstasie in Groenbossies stilgehou het om ’n pap band om te ruil. Drie swart mans is by die vulstasie voorgekeer en ondervra. “Tydens die ondervraging het een man erken hy was deel van ’n aanval op ’n boer, en kon die polisie vasstel dat ’n lyk iewers in Groenbossies agtergelaat is,” het Nkohli gesê. Clarke se lyk is kort hierna in die bosse langs Minorweg, ’n grondpad in Groenbossies, aangetref. By verdere ondersoek is vasgestel die grys bakkie waarmee die drie mans gery het, behoort aan Clarke. Die drie is as verdagtes weens die moord aangekeer en sal môre in die Kirkwood-landdroshof verskyn. Nkohli het gesê die presiese oorsaak van Clarke se dood sal eers ná die lykskouing bekend wees.

PRETORIA- 19 April 2015: Skaars drie weke nadat Tina Matthews (68) by ’n aftreeoord in die ooste van Pretoria ingetrek het, is sy deur swart kriminele oorval en in die heup geskiet. Matthews se familie het gedink sy is nie meer veilig in haar huis in Waterkloof nie en die Pretoria-Oos-aftreeoord naby die Grove-winkelsentrum het na ’n goeie opsie geklink. Dié oord word deur ’n 2,4?m hoë muur met elektriese drade bo-op omring en veiligheidswagte stap snags elke halfuur om die huise. Maar Vrydagaand het twee swart skurke by Matthews se agterdeur ingebars en ’n stoeiery het ontstaan. Die kriminele het skote afgevuur en Matthews getref, waarna hulle gevlug het.
