Gary Bradshaw has been inducted into the Independent Superstars Hall Of Fame as a ”Professional Disk Jockey” Frans Maritz (Wildhorse Entertainment) signed the official certificate placing Gary into this prestigious organization located in South Africa. Gary has the distinct honor of being inducted into the IDSS Hall of Fame for his life-time contribution to the Independent Music Industry. Gary is seen in the picture below with the award confirming his induction into the HALL OF FAME. “I would like to thank you very much for this honor. Biography of Gray Bradshaw:
Growing up in the 50′s & 60′s with Rock & Roll and Country Music, I became intrigued with the entire business and decided to do something in and for the Music Industry. I started my own promotions business calling Radio Stations and getting them to play the new single releases from both Indies and some Majors. We promoted music to several Chart Publications such as Billboard, R&R, Music Row, Cashbox, Gavin, RMR, Indie Bullet, Airplay Direct,etc. and have been doing that for more than 38 years.
Along the way I purchased a Record Manufacturing Plant, where we mfg. thousands of both Indie and Major vinyl albums and single 45′s. This Company included a complete print shop, a Tape duplication department from start to finish. When CD’s came in, I sold the plant.
When the Internet came along, it brought with it a whole new way of doing business. Internet Radio became a better way of doing things and offered us thousands of new stations to service. I seen the potential of all this and opened up several Internet Radio Stations. I also have one Itunes Radio Station http://www.whprradio.com . Lic. by ASCAP, BMI, SESAC and Sound Exchange. I own and operate, program 5 Internet Radio Stations.
Other endeavors as we grew was organizing tours to Europe, Australia, New Zealand, for Indie Artists. I would take from 1 to as many as 32 Artists overseas for up to as many as 9 weeks. The purpose of this being exposure for the Artists. From these tours came several single Artist bookings over the years.
I have been involved in Promotions, Production, Producing, Management, Publishing, Manufacturing, Touring, Bookings, Radio, Distribution and Consulting.
