The festivities will get underway with a VIP reception party on the rooftop terrace from 5:30 – 7:00 PM, with Southern Halo slated to perform from 5:30 – 6:40 PM. Inside performances will begin at 7:30 PM and will showcase the Delta Music Institute Allstars, Cedric Burnside and Bobby Rush.

Southern Halo, who hail from Cleveland, Mississippi, are a dynamic modern Country Rock band composed of teen sisters Natalia Morris on guitar and lead vocals, Christina on drums and vocals, and Hannah on bass guitar and vocals. Their amazing lead vocals, sibling harmonies and expert musicianship best define their sound.

Southern Halo’s debut single, “Little White Dress,” from their 2015 self-titled album, has recently cracked the national MusicRow radio chart and entered 2016 by holding down the #1 spot on the European Hotdisc chart for EIGHT consecutive weeks, earning them the coveted top position of the “Most Popular Songs of 2015” on that chart, linked here: http: //www.hotdisc.co.uk/chart2015.htm

The video for “Little White Dress” has been played on Great American Country, The Heartland Network & ZUUS Country (where they were featured in an hour long artist spotlight).  In addition, Southern Halo was one of the Top artists hand-picked by the CMT Artists team list on CMT.com. The video has been played across the UK, Ireland and Europe on Phil Mack’s “Keeping it Country” show, CM&T and Hugh O’Brien’s show, “Hot Country.”

Steadily growing their die-hard fan base, Southern Halo has performed across a wide swath of America, from Atlanta, Georgia to San Diego, California, and at concert venues across the Mississippi Delta to the hallowed stage of the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee.

With a diverse set list which runs the musical spectrum from Blues to Rock to Country, Southern Halo appeals to a wide age range, and are a favorite opening act for talent buyers, having shared the stage with a stellar list of National recording artists, including the late B.B. King, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Mo Pitney, Brantley Gilbert, Parmalee, Uncle Kracker and Randy Houser, among many others.

Southern Halo’s list of accomplishments and accolades are long, but a short l ist includes, being National finalists of the 2014 Texaco Country Showdown held at the Ryman Auditorium. They recorded their first EP with Alabama’s Jeff Cook, have headlined at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, walked the red carpet at CMT Awards and have been endorsed by Gibson Guitars. No small accomplishments for a group of talented young ladies who are destined for stardom.

ABOUT SOUTHERN HALO:

Southern Halo is the creation of a soulful sister trio born and raised in the Mississippi Delta. Talented beyond their years, these sisters bring a blend of Hot Country, Classic Country, Oldies, and even a little Southern Rock. Natalia, pronounced Na ta Lee’ Ya, is the guitarist, lead singer and principle songwriter of Southern Halo. “Nata” loves to entertain the audience with her performance skills. She takes the audience through vocal and guitar solos, performs harmony songs with her sisters, and gives strong backups when she brings her sisters up for solo performances. At 18 years old, Natalia loves country rock music and is known as the “fashionista” of the band. Aside from music, she loves running, exercising, studying, and spending time with her friends. Recently Natilia has written with hit songwriters such as Mike Daly (Jason Mraz, Alanis Morissette), Catt Gravitt (former Sesac writer of the year) and others. Christina Morris is the wild child in the band. At age 16, “Tinka” is the intense and soulful drummer who quickly grabs the attention of the audience with her masterful command of the drums. The middle child of the group, Tinka loves to make sure fun chaos is present on the road at all times and loves to stir up fun things on stage, as well. Hannah Morris is the baby of the group. On stage, she locks in the bass line with her sister drummer for a unique country rock groove, like only siblings can. At age 15, she is described as the free spirit and animal lover of the group. Very funny, laid back, and easy going, she brings joy to the band both on stage and on the road. Described by friends and family as the “perfect child”, Hannah keeps her sisters on their toes.
