House Beer, a premium craft lager, is made for millennials—and anyone else who enjoys what founder and president Brendan Sindell called in our recent interview, “a quality, approachable and sessionable beer.” He felt that his generation wanted not only an updated version of beer that his parents' generation grew up drinking, but one that—with its low AVB of 4.8 percent—would still be refreshing after multiple cans over the course of hanging out or watching a game.

Sindell and his colleague Keegan Gibbs (who handles marketing and creative of House Brewing, Inc.) have collaborated on this balanced beer—unique, they believe, because of its good balance, malt profile and spicy finish.

While House Beer originated in Southern California and has found a fan base there, it has made its was to the East Coast thanks to unwavering determination from Sindell, Gibbs and Wilson.

“We really went an organic route in launching into New York,” Sindell wrote. “My team and I knocked on people’s doors, emailed bars and restaurants we ourselves frequented and connected with a lot of amazing people. It’s doing the same thing we did here in Los Angeles; customer by customer, restaurant by restaurant, having them try the beer and letting the product speak for itself.”
