When in Manila, the life of a celebrity is always put under the spotlight and it isn’t any different for the Philippines’ Ultimate Heartthrob who is now a household name, Piolo Pascual!
Celebrities like Piolo Pascual don’t really like to share their entire lives with the world, but this only adds to the mysterious charm that they have and makes them even more attractive – am I right? Well, I was lucky enough to attend a press con before he bares all on E! News Asia and here are 4 things that I learned about him:

For the hardcore Piolo Pascual fans out there, mark your calendars! The E! News team has followed him around (even to the bathroom, as Piolo said himself) for 5 days and will start showing a behind-the-scenes, no-holds-barred documentary about his life starting then. 3. He looks dashing – even in person.
Yes, Piolo looked absolutely dashing when he came on-stage for the press con – very becoming of a man who is considered to be an acting veteran in the Philippine showbiz industry.
2. He is humble and down-to-earth.
Piolo was at ease during the interview and was even smiling and laughing the whole time, welcoming every question that some of the guests had asked and answering them whole-heartedly. The main thing that I remember him saying was that he knows how to separate his work life as an actor from his personal one as a father to Inigo, and that he always tries to do his best in both aspects. Now, who wouldn’t go ‘Aww’ at that?
1. Finally, Piolo is a very fun man.
There was a short raffle after the interview and he was actually the one picking the name from the raffle bowl, calling out the winner and even giving the prize to the chosen person. Those people who got picked were very, very lucky!
From a fan who has only seen him from the screens of my home, I must say that I’ve fallen even deeper for this man ever since I saw him at the presscon at The Loft last July 31, 2014. I’ll definitely watch out for the premiere of his E! News Asia Special!
