The simplistic Vanotti collection presented at Milano fashion week, appeared to be Japanese inspired. Vanotti introduced an assortment of conservative and contemporary A-line designs. The majority of the elegant pieces were block colored, in neutral tones. Rich fabrics such as silk and linen were elegantly draped over the models. There was a Zen vibe about the entirety of the collection, and the show itself, which took place in a black, rectangular room, complete with a brightly lit, white runway. Knitwear also made an appearance throughout the collection, as it is typically a vital part of many Fall/Winter collections. The earthy tones used for select pieces added an element of warmth. Overall the 2016 Vanotti Fall/Winter collection was modern and chic.
