Les Copains successfully launched another Fall/Winter collection at this season’s Milan Fashion Week. The collection featured Bandiera’s staple chunky, knit sweaters, a look proven to be highly valued among brand loyalists in the past. The hefty cardigans were balanced with delicate, feminine pieces, such as long, flowy skirts, in sheer fabrics and pale shades. The finishing touch was intricate embroidery. The entire collection carried air of romance and modest femininity. The intermittent presence of tweed and plaid seemed to pay homage to tartan, an element popular among many designers in the past, including Jean Paul Gautier and Celine. The looks were completed with retro silk shoes (with chunky transparent heels), and wool bomber jackets.
