Sam Russo is headed across the pond yet again, joining two familiar faces on two sets of US tour dates. The singer/songwriter will first join Tim Barry for a run of shows in the South East before travelling to the Midwest for a short tour with, Lawrence Arms frontman, Brendan Kelly. The tour is Russo's third in the US, having previously toured with Masked Intruder and Elway and then with The Lawrence Arms.
Sam has recently completed a tour with Tim Barry and Cory Branan in the UK and has finished recording his second full-length, which is due out later this year. His debut LP Storm, released in 2012 by Specialist Subject Records and Red Scare Industries, was a dark, emotional and brutally honest record that helped affirm Russo's status as one of the best singer/songwriters in the UK. As you might expect, the follow up to an album like that is highly anticipated around these parts.
