Hevy Fest, as the name might suggest, is somewhere you might think an acoustic guitar wouldn't be welcome. However, you'd be wrong. Today festival organisers have announced that those headed to Hevy will get the chance to see 'Acoustic Sessions from Jamie Lenman, Sam Duckworth, Sean McGowan and more.
These special acoustic sets will take place on the Thursday night of the festival to entertain early birds who might need something a little more chill before The Dillinger Escape Plan and the like melt faces on Friday and Saturday. Joining the aforementioned for this acoustic shindig will be The Lion & The Wolf, Dave McPherson (of InMe), Chas Palmer-Williams (of Lightyear) and The Gospel Youth.
They join an already incredible lineup that features Thrice, Coheed And Cambria, Touché Amoré and The Get Up Kids performing Something To Write Home About in full. So yeah, it's going to be a good time for sure.
