The opening of The ANVAYA Beach Resort – Bali was marked by a traditional Nasi Tumpeng rice-cutting ceremony presided over by Mr. Dadang Rizki Ratman as Deputy for Destination Development and Tourism Industry, who cut the rice cone and handed it to CEO Kompas Gramedia, Mr. Lilik Oetama, who in turn presented it to Mr. Helmy Shaukany, Resident Manager of The ANVAYA Beach Resort – Bali. The ceremony was witnessed by Kompas Gramedia Commissioner Mr. Harly Ojong and Vice Regent of Badung, Mr. I Ketut Suiasa and Mr. Johanes Widjaja, President Director of PT. Grahawita Santika. Other distinguished guests at the inauguration included several directors of Kompas Gramedia Group and PT Grahawita Santika, and various government officials.

The ANVAYA Beach Resort – Bali is the first five-star hotel to be wholly owned and managed by Santika Indonesia Hotels and Resorts. The ANVAYA Beach Resort – Bali reflects the three major periods in the history of the Island of the Gods. The Bali Aga period, often referred to as the Early Balinese period, is visible in the décor of Kunyit Restaurant, the hotel’s meeting rooms, ballroom and Deluxe rooms. The elegant and refined Hindu Dharma period is seen in the traditional Balinese and Hindu ornaments and motifs that decorate the central lobby area, which includes the hotel’s Premiere, Deluxe Suites and Premiere Suites. The final, Modern Balinese, period is represented by the interior of The Anvaya’s luxury villa.

The ANVAYA Beach Resort – Bali is the first five-star hotel owned by Santika Indonesia Hotels and Resorts, and the 95th hotel to be welcomed into the group’s portfolio.
