We all know winter has departed way too early, so instead of dwelling on what’s lost, we are using the untimely warm season to hog on icy treats. Adding to our list from our last ice cream trail, here are some fresh as well as time tested guilt-inducing treats from across town.

-301°F, Greater Kailash 2

An accidental discovery, this one-month old outpost from Mumbai is a sweet gift! The bright blue board caught our attention last week and we knew we had found our new dessert spot. The nitro ice cream parlour is perfect for all kinds of sweet cravings with a unique list of flavours and an interesting way to make each ice cream – they use a nitrogen tank to freeze the ice cream and everything is mechanically handled, so the quality is consistent. We recommend the Chilli Guava (Rs 90), Fresh Strawberry Creamllete (Rs 90) and Paan Masala (Rs 90). While we watched fresh strawberries being crushed and topped with strawberry jelly like curious kids, the other two options stole our heart. The best part about these frozen beauties is that their sweetness is not overpowering and each bite still has the original flavour of the fruits. Go check them out quickly, while we count the days to their Noida branch’s launch.
P.S: They do bulk packing for outstation deliveries on special requests.

Pabrai#39;s Fresh and Naturelle, Connaught Place

Even before Naturals’ made their entry into Delhi, it was Pabrai#39;s Fresh and Naturelle that were renowned for their 100% fruit flavoured natural ice-cream. Originally from Kolkata, their products are made without any artificial essence and colours. Playing with various flavours, ingredients and add-ons like chocolates and candies – they are a must try. We keep going back for their innovative and gourmet Wasabi and Black Sesame (Rs 100), Matcha Green Tea (Rs 100), Red Bean and Pink Ginger (Rs 90), Tender Coconut (Rs 80), Muskmelon (Rs 80), Star Anise (Rs 80), Galangal (Rs 80), and Kafir Lime (Rs 80). Yogito, Gurgaon

A 100% vegetarian, frozen yoghurt gelato that claims to be healthier than the average ice cream! You might have spotted Yogito inside movie halls in Delhi, but they also have a small takeaway outlet in DLF Cyber Hub. There are fresh flavours like mango, strawberry and grape to choose from, or you can go for the lighter options. We love their Oreo Overload with chunks of Oreo biscuits crushed as toppings and the decadent Belgian Chocolate. A scoop of frozen yoghurt or gelato is just for Rs 80, while the stick goes for Rs 60 making it extremely pocket friendly.
