Awards season is in full swing and so are the red carpet roundups! Tonight, all of your favorite celebrities unveiled their red carpet style at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards. And we’re bringing you their best (and no-so-best) looks, and rounded up the haute trends as seen on the red carpet, like winter whites, sparkle and shine, ruby red and regal purple. Check out who’s wearing what, and why we liked it – or didn’t!

Red gowns:

Viola Davis looked stunning in a red gown by Donna Karan Atelier, which featured beautiful beading at the front and sides. Shhe accented her look with a box clutch, softly waved hair and a red lip.

Julianna Margulies wore a brocade print Ulyana Sergeenko midi gown that did little to flatter her figure.

Lena Dunham rocked a ruby red Zac Posen hi-lo gown. Not our favorite look but the dress certainly fits her quirky personality.

Allison Williams wore a beautiful red tiered Armani Privé gown with a smattering of red beading all over.

Heidi Klum channeled Jessica Rabbit in a glamorous red, one-shoulder with a bustier style bodice and flared skirt.

Taylor Schilling wore a red Ralph Lauren halter style gown with a keyhole neckline.

Helen Mirren never looked better in a red, form-fitting Dolce & Gabbana gown.

Jane Fonda looked sexy at 70-something in a red Versace gown with an illusion sleeve, shoulder and side detail.

Yellow gowns:
Naomi Watts was a red carpet hit in a lemon yellow, belted Gucci column gown, paired with a diamond snake necklace.

Channing Tatum posed next to his wife Jenna Dewan Tatum who stunned in an airy, pastel yellow Carolina Herrera frock.

Leslie Mann looked beautiful in a yellow sequin body-hugging gown, accessorized with a jade green clutch and earrings.

Purple gowns:

This wasn’t our favorite look from red carpet star, Lupita Nyong’o, but she still looked pretty in the purple and cream floral Giambattista Valli dress.

Quvenzhané Wallis looked super cute in this white and purple Armani dress!

Katie Holmes looked regal in a purple Marchesa gown, paired with a sleek side pony.

Kerry Washington‘s red carpet style has seen better days. This Mary Katrantzou dress coupled with her awkward pose didn’t do much for the beautiful Scandal star.

White gowns:
Rosamund Pike‘s white Vera Wang dress was pretty but needed to be altered a bit. we were distracted by the saggy boob area, unfortunately.

Kate Hudson wore a sleek white Versace gown with a plunging neckline and sexy side cutouts. She knows how to work the red carpet!

Host Tina Fey wore a white Antonio Berardi dress with crystals and black accents, while she posed with co-host Amy Poehler (in a blue Stella McCartney gown) on the red carpet.

Emily Blunt wore a crisscross-front, white Michael Kors gown that gave a Grecian feel.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus rocked a chic, one-shoulder gown by Narciso Rodriguez.

Salma Hayek looked ready for prom in this off-white strapless gown by Alexander McQueen.

Keira Knightley wore a butterfly-covered Chanel dress that made her look like a high fashion milkmaid. And her Chanel clutch featured an oversized butterfly cutout that looked like it was attacking her hand. No, ma’am.

Sparkly gowns:

The always fabulous Jennifer Lopez smoldered a sexy, sparkly caftan by one of her fave designers, Zuhair Murad.

Reese Witherspoon subtly shimmered in a silver Calvin Klein shift gown.

Julianne Moore wore a sparkly silver Givenchy gown which featured fringe and blue feathers at the hem. An added belt would have made for a slightly sleeker look but overall she looked great.

Diane Kruger looked simple and chic in a silver Emilia Wickstead gown.

Dakota Johnson looked beautiful in a strapless silver Chanel gown with a center split.
