Keep it in the square!

If there's one thing that always makes me smile, it's when someone tweets me, or I've found out I've been mentioned on someones blog under some kind of recommendations post (or thereabouts). It's such a fantastic feeling to think you've managed to inspire someone in a small way (without sounding like a Billy big head), but the internet can be a big old scary place, so being able to discover new loves, celebrate old ones and share something new is all part of it's brilliant charm- and when you have a platform, is there really any better way to use it? So- practising what I preach, I thought I'd start sharing some of my favourite people online more frequently! So, starting with Instagram, I've handpicked a very small bunch (I mean, let's face it- I follow over 1000 people, so this is barely scratching the surface) to share with you! This is by no means all of them, but you gotta start somewhere! Enjoy! (And please share your favourites below too)!

Belle and Bunty

If I'm ever stuck in a sartorial rut, I need never look further than than the beautiful page of designers, Alice and Hannah, over at Belle and Bunty; two women who not only have the most beautiful eye for colour- but modern, fun, playful style too. Not only are their images perfectly coordinated (to the point I'm usually in awe)- but their eye for design and detail is second to none.

Xanthe Berkeley

I recently worked with Xanthe for a project, and although I'd been a long time admirer of her page and videography, it was when I finally got to meet her- and see her work that I became a little blown away (and subsequently spent hours admiring her short Instagram films). Another woman with an incredible eye for colour, composition and telling a story- Xanthe also holds online courses for those wanting to improve their skills too.

Make My Lemonade

Make My Lemonade is a blog by Parisian blogger Lisa Gachet, and one of the most beautiful at that too. Her feed is complete mix of every day musings, her creative endeavours, Parisian city bites and behind the scenes of her incredible clothing line, Wear Lemonade (nope, there really is no end to her talents- and did I mention she's completely stunning too?

Jeanne Damas

Jeanne is undoubtedly the modern Jane Birkin of the fashion world, and her classic French inspired style has me clicking back (and screen grabbing) again and again for inspiration. With a collection for Reformation under her belt (as well as her own label coming soon)- she's my one stop shop for any wardrobe ideas, and always always gets it right.

Alana Jones-Mann

If you're after a seriously delicious carb-free cake fix (carb free because y'know, you can't eat your phone)- then Alana's page will be right up your street. Her cakes and decorations never cease to inspire me (taking eye candy to a very literal level here), and have me yearning to be a little more adventurous in the kitchen (and visit California and NY again too)! One talented lady.
