What is JEE Main and Advanced Exam ?
JEE Main examination is one of the leading entrance examination in India. Before 2013 JEE Main, was known as All Indian Entrance Examination Exam (AIEEE). After 2012 AIEEE is replaced by CBSE JEE Main Exam like NEET 2014 is Replaced by AIPMT 2014.
Joint Entrance Examination is divided in to two phases.

JEE Main 2014 is for those who want to take admission in well known engineering colleges of India. From all over India, around 14 Lakh candidates will appear for JEE Main 2014. If you get good Results in this examination then you will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2014. Its being conducted by CBSE in order to take admissions in NITs, CFTIs colleges.

Before JEE Advanced there was an examination called Indian Institute of India Joint Entrance Exam (IIT JEE). Now it is well known as JEE Advanced examination.Its being conducted by IIT Kharagpur.
What's New in JEE MAIN 2014
JEE Main examination 2014 is going to be conducted at the various examination centres of India on 6th April 2014.
Candidates have to apply online for JEE 2014. There is a no offline mode for JEE (Main).
Maharashtra,odisha and Gujarat states have accepted the JEE Main 2014 in their receptive state for Entrance Test in Engineering Colleges.
JEE Main 2014 Eligibility Criteria
A primary requirement to appear for JEE Main 2014 is that candidate must have passed the 12th class examination or equivalent in 2013.
Candidates apprearing for 12th Class Examination in 2014 are allowed to appear for JEE Main 2014.
Candidate passed in 2011 or before are not allowed to seat in this JEE Main Examination. Candidates passed 12th class examination in 2012/2013 can appear for this exam.
Candidate's Date of birth (DOB) must be after 1989. ( 5 years Age relaxation is there for SC/ST candidates )
JEE Main Selection Procedure
Final score card of the candidates will be created based upon the 60% Marks Obtained the the state level examination and 40% of the Marks in JEE Main 2014 examination.

Upload your photograph, left thumb sign and signature.
Pay the JEE Main examination fees via Debit card,Credit card or Bank challan.
You will see an acknowledgement receipt. Save it safe for future use.
