ENG: I have this blog post in my Drafts for quite some time now and never found the time to actually go through it and make sure everything is in order for publishing.
Well, today was another gray, windy, rainy day in Bucharest, so i traded my favorite book at the moment for now and grabbed my favorite mug, filled it with some good quality hot chocolate and went through my hibernating Drafts folder.
Here are some of my favorite fashion blogs and my next articles will be about Favorite Beauty Blogs, Favorite Nail Art Blogs and Favorite Food Blogs, because yes, i love to cook. It makes me happy and i also make other people happy. It's a win-win situation :))
RO: De ceva vreme hiberneaza articolul asta in folderul Drafts si n-am gasit nici un strop de timp, si hai s-o recunosc, nici chef sa ma asigur ca totul este in regula pentru publicarea acestuia.
Ei bine, azi Bucurestiul a fost ploios, noros, vantul batea in toate directiile, asa ca am pus cartea favorita la o parte pentru moment, am tras ceasca preferata pe nume Butelcuţă si am umplut-o cu o ciocolata calda cremoasa, absolut delicioasa, si am aruncat niste ochi obositi prin lenesul Drafts.
Azi va prezint blogurile mele favorite de moda. Fiti atente pentru ca mai urmeaza si blogurile preferate de beauty, de nail art si bineinteles, bloguri pline cu retete super-super-yummy!
Ordinea blogurilor este aleatorie, n-am facut un top.

Thrill of the heel
ENG: I will start with tha' queen of vintage. Yeah, you heard me :)) Her name is Andreea and she's a vintageholic is that even a word?. Doesn't matter though, her style is impeccable so make sure to check her blog out if you don't know it already. I really like this girl, but i also envy her. Her luck with finding hidden treasures in thrift shops is actually absurd. I own some real vintage pieces myself and i know how hard they are to find, especially in Bucharest. So yeah, it's a love and hate relationship between me and her wardrobe, but Andreea's way of writing is very funny, so we'll let this pass.
RO: Cand ma gandesc la fashion, ma gandesc la vintage. Cand ma gandesc la vintage, ma gandesc la cat de mult nu-mi place norocul pe care il are Andreea in a descoperi mici comori prin second-hand-uri. E chiar absurd! Am si eu cateva piese cu adevarat vintage, dar unele sunt mostenite, iar altele gasite cu mare greutate prin calatoriile mele. Asa ca da, ii admir stilul vestimentar si faptul ca apreciaza lucrurile de valoare si as vrea foarte mult sa am garderoba ei. Nu-i asa ca mi-o dai mie? :)))

ENG: Wonder Fashion is owned by Oliviana. I've been secretly stalking her elegant, feminine, lovely clothes ever since i started blogging myself, back in 2011. Wonder Fashion is an old love of mine.

ENG: Nooo, i'm not talking about Hannah-Miley-Montana here, with her other sides. Another side of me is owned by two lovely sisters, Cristina and Dorina. Their posts are always filled with positive energy and i just have to mention them.
RO: Nuuuu, nu va vorbesc despre Hannah-Miley-Montana. Another side of me este detinut de doua surori super dragalase, Cristina si Dorina. Postarile lor sunt pline de optimism si voie buna, asa ca si-au castigat un locusor si in corasonul meu.
Lavender Thoughts
ENG: Speaking of positive thoughts and energy, Ilda is a must. I've discovered her a couple of months ago and i kept coming back to her blog because she's such a kind soul. Her way of writing is so warm and approachable and i would love to meet her one day. I really hope she won't take this the wrong way, but she kind of reminds me of my mom. She's always looking for the best in people or situations, always with a kind smile, a warm hug and a good advice. They're both such positive beings and i have a huge respect for them. So yes, if you want your dose of happy lavender thoughts, go meet Ilda.
RO: Vorbind de optimism si voie buna, Ilda le are din plin. Pe ea am descoperit-o acum cateva luni si am indragit-o imediat. Imi place modul ei prietenos de a scrie, de a comunica cu cititoarele ei si chiar mi-ar placea sa o cunosc intr-o zi. Sper sa nu ma inteleaga gresit cand spun asta, dar imi aduce aminte de mama mea. Amandoua au mereu o vorba buna de oferit, mereu priveste partea plina a paharului, sunt prietenoase si au acel ceva care te face sa revii pe langa ele. Amandoua sunt niste fiinte atat de pozitive, incat practic, te molipsesti de la ele cu o bucurie si o liniste interioara. Putini oameni au efectul asta asupra altora, dar ca sa-ti redai modul pozitiv de fi prin scris, my dear Ilda, you've got some killer skills :))
Sper sa ramai mereu asa si evident, prezenta ta in online sa iti aduca si tie multe bucurii!

I discovered her a long time ago and she just has that something that makes you come back and read her new blog post. Her fashion sense is really good so make sure you check her out too.

ENG: I'm pretty sure that buying a gift for a guy is really bothersome, nerve-wrecking, exasperating . . .you get the point, right?
Isn't it ironic, though? In the morning, a guy can just throw on some jeans, a white tee, a jacket, comb his hair with his hand and oh-em-geee~ you, just want to jump him?
But a woman? Oh no! Even the no-makeup look takes some time to paint on. At the end, you just want to tie your whole face in a ponytail.
A gift for a woman? Well my dear, that is not rocket science. We all know what kind of trinkets makes a woman jump up and down with joy.
But what do you do when you have friends, boy friends, that ask for your help when their whole look is malfunctioning? Man, i'm a bblogger, not Rachel-freakin'-Zoe!
Oh well, you can't send them on their way when they go for the puppy dog eyes, can you?

ENG: Well, actually, i have two girl-obsessions. The other one is Kristina Bazan from Kayture. I know some girls kinda hate her because she keeps receiving all sorts of designer clothes, money, invitations, she meets a shitload of famous people, goes to Victoria's Secret show with their private custom made VS jet and well, basically lives a wealthy life out of blogging. Well, who wouldn't hate her and her wardrobe? :))))
RO: Ei bine, am mintit. Sunt doua fete care imi plac mult in perioada asta, iar a doua se numeste Kristina Bazan de la Kayture. Stiu ca a primit multe comentarii uracioase si nu prea este indragita pentru ca primeste multe haine, primeste bani, invitatii, are oportunitatea de a intalni multe persoane faimoase, merge la show-ul Victoria's Secret impreuna cu modelele VS in jet-ul custom made VS si lista poate continua. Nu stiu ce anume a facut ca sa ajunga atat de "faimoasa" in lumea online-ului, dar cert este ca la anii ei parca 22 de ani are, a reusit ceva si poate trai din blogging. Bravo ei, iar restul nu ma intereseaza. O urmaresc pentru inspiratie, nu pentru contul ei bancar.

I know that there are lot of fashion blogs out there and they deserve to be mentioned, but honestly, i stopped reading blogs that don't give off any kind of vibe. I know the girls are pretty, they have stunning pictures and they're mentioned in famous magazines, know a lot of people in the industry and they are promoted a lot because of that, but honestly, to me, they just come across as annoying. I would rather read a "small", not-so-popular blog and get to know the person behind it, then look at the pretty pictures over and over again.
What do they say about pretty & perfect? That is boring? Well, i agree.
Whether i read a fashion blog that has an army of stylists, photography and make-up artists behind it, i want to get to know the blogger too.
I'm not saying that i want to know their whole lives since childhood, but at least answer the damn messages and comments. That is annoying! At least, to me it is. A blogger is not a famous person you're not Beyonce girlie and from what i've seen, most of them think that way. Being famous on Instagram and Facebook does not make you a celebrity. Period.
I'm following other fashion blogs too, like Leandra Medine from The Man Repeller, Micah Gianneli, i used to follow Angela Lanter too, but she keeps mentioning her famous husband every damn time and at some point it really got on my nerves. I like Maegan Tintari's style too, The Mysterious girl by Larisa Costea, Lovely by Lucy, Blackeyed by Raluca Vintilescu, About women and not only and so many others.
