Mesmerised by the deep blue ocean.

As I sat on the beach, with the hot sun shining bright in Sydney’s blue sky, and my feet sinking in the golden sand, all I could do was breath in and breath out. Ignoring the noise surrounding me and focusing on my own thoughts. I was now completely engulfed in my own bubble.

“I’ve met the most interesting people while flying or on a boat. These methods of travel seem to attract the kind of people I want to be with.”  – Hedy Lamarr

There have always been two personalities fighting inside of me. There’s the side that wants me to keep my feet grounded in the same place forever, find the perfect home and an office job and live a quiet and peaceful life and then there’s the side that keeps winning, the more adventurous, impatient side of me that can’t stay still in a place for too long. That side is the one that has driven me into pushing myself and pushing boundaries. Thanks to this untamed side I have seen and been to places that I had never thought I would visit in such a short amount of time. Thanks to this side I am able to visit my family and friends all over the world, but because of this innate wanderlust gene, I am also struggling to find a place on Earth that could become my own, the place that we call “home.”

Home is where the people you love are. For me, home is here, there and everywhere I feel comfortable in. Home is where I find peace of mind, body and spirit. As a traveller, I am still trying to find my place, I am still discovering the world and all its beauty and one day I will find it and that’s when the former spirit will finally have a chance at winning.
