HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
TAMPA: Lowry Park Zoo Creatures of the Night. Tampa’s Lowry Park Zoo will transform into an eerie and immersive Halloween adventure for the whole family with the all-new Creatures of the Night. On Fridays and Saturdays from October 7-29, the Zoo stays open late and animals lurk in the night until 10 p.m. with a wide-range of Halloween-themed activities sure to have guests of all ages howling at the moon. Event admission is included with a one-day ticket on event dates (valid for full day 9:30 a.m.-10 p.m.) or guests can purchase a discounted “after 4 p.m.” ticket for only $19.95. SUN CITY: Trunk or Treat with a Twist”, a safe, family event, will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Saturday, October 29, at 10:00 a.m. In the church parking lot, church members will be handing out candy from their decorated Golf Carts to the trick-or-treaters. ST. PETERSBURG: Please join us for the Port St. Pete Halloween “Truck or Treat.” Kids can trick-or-treat at food trucks. More than a dozen food trucks are participating from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, October 21. Free admission. Port St. Pete is located at the Marine Discovery Center in downtown St. Pete.
POLK COUNTY
BARTOW: Polk County Sheriff’s Office Haunted Jail Tour. This year’s theme is Zombie Outbreak, and it promises to be the BEST haunted jail tour ever! 6 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 21-22 and 28-29. Donate $5. 455 N. Broadway Ave. in Bartow. Get more info here.

ELLENTON: Black cats, ghosts, witches brew and more, let’s see what this Halloween has in store! Your favorite little ghosts and goblins are invited to Ellenton Premium Outlets to take a Halloween themed photo on Saturday, October 29 and to a fun and safe evening of trick-or-treating on Monday, October 31. Ellenton Premium Outlets will host its mall-wide Halloween celebration from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, October 31. Children of all ages are encouraged to sport their best Halloween costume to haunt Ellenton Premium Outlets in search of candy. Attendees are invited to stop by Simon Guest Services in the Food Court for a full list of participating retailers, a complimentary Savings Passport, goody bag, craft project and more. ST. ARMANDS CIRCLE: FRIGHT NIGHT! transforms St. Armands Circle from island sophistication to Halloween fun. Decorated store fronts set the stage for wandering spirits of St. Armands past; frightening characters appear around every corner amidst statues dressed in the Halloween spirit. Children trick-or-treat throughout the Circle with numerous retailers and restaurants contributing to the Halloween spirit with customized promotions. Visit the haunted house, have a professional picture taken and get a free ticket to participate in a raffle for three gift card prizes ($300, $200, and $100) at Michael J. Renick & Co.’s office located at 438 St. Armands Circle. In collaboration with the Sarasota High School Drama Department, a performance of “Thriller” will take place around 8:00pm.
