There’s a big Saturday of local sports action around the region today and we’ll have the latest on all of the action for you today here at The Courier.
The University of Findlay men’s basketball team is back home as the Oilers host rival Tiffin in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men and women’s basketball doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. Courier writer Andy Wolf will be at Croy Gymnasium to cover the Oilers.
There are 17 boys basketball games set for tonight.
Findlay High School hosts Kenton in a nonconference contest tonight. That game can be heard on 1330 AM WFIN and will be streamed live on WFIN.com.
Ada visits McComb and Miller City is at Arlington in all-area matchups tonight.
There are eight girls basketball games on the schedule including a big game between state-ranked Columbus Grove and Arlington. Courier writer Michael Burwell will cover that game at 2:30 this afternoon.
Conference wrestling championships will also be decided throughout Northwestern Ohio. Courier sports editor Jamie Baker will be at Arcadia for the Blanchard Valley Conference tournament. The tournament finals will be broadcast live on WFIN beginning at 1 p.m. and streamed on WFIN.com.
