There were two real life married couples in tonight’s Westport Country Playhouse script in hand production of the spy thriller “Pack of Lies” by Hugh Whitemore. Afterward, they got together with Ann Keefe (2nd l), curator and director of the series, and her husband playwright David Wiltse (l).The other couples are (l-r) Boyd Gaines and wife Kathleen McNenny, and Michel Gill and wife Jayne Atkinson. Gill and Atkinson are well known to followers of the popular Netflix series “House of Cards.” (He played President Garrett Walker while she played Catherine Durant.) Gaines, a four-time Tony Award winner, is well known to theatergoers, while McNenny, a graduate of the Juilliard School of Drama, has performed a wide range of roles on Broadway, Off Broadway,TV and film. The original London West End production of “Pack of Lies” in 1983 starred Judi Dench and her husband, Michael Williams, as the Jacksons.
