The shiny shovels were out July 21 for the groundbreaking ceremony of a new Audi dealership that will take the place of the former All Westchester Saw Mill Multiplex Cinemas in Hawthorne.
The new 71,000-square-foot, two-story facility comes from Audi Hawthorne, which comes from a group that also operates an Audi dealership in Danbury. New Jersey-based REDCOM Design & Construction LLC is handling the site work and construction.
The new facility, at 151 Saw Mill River Road, will feature a showroom and full-service car wash. It’s expected to employ 60 people when it opens, which Audi Hawthorne expects will happen by next summer.
