DUE to popular demand the Friends of Dunmanway Community Hospital are delighted to launch the 2013 Victorian Tea Party.
This will be held in Cox’s Hall, Sackville Street, Dunmanway for two days only on Friday, November 15th from 1pm to 7pm and Saturday 16th from 11am to 6pm.
Following the enormous success of previous years the group have agreed to showcase the event one more time.
With pervious attendees throughout Munster and beyond waiting on another Downtown Abbey performance, Dunmanway style – the group agreed the show had to go on!
This year the group promises another wonderful Downtown Abbey Christmas experience with further flair!
As well as displays of ornate china the group have added a unique lace cloth collection for display. This has been especially sourced for the event and it is expected to gather a lot of interest.
The Old time Christmas extravaganza scene will be set for you as soon as you arrive at Cox’s hall with a Victorian Christmas theme throughout.
From the moment you arrive – the show begins. Jeeves our resident butler and Rosie his chief Parlour maid will greet you and take you to your table. Here you will be served tea in the finest traditional china and waited on by our chambermaids in traditional Victorian black and white dress.
Much of the Lords and Ladies from the Victorian era will already be in attendance. They will be available to meet with you and to make your experience a truly enjoyable one. Feel free to dress for the occasion if you wish.
Access is limited so large groups are encouraged to arrive early to avoid disappointment. This promises to be another unique Victorian experience.
