One of the largest fireworks displays in Southern California with music and food vendors in the nearby Arroyo.
When: July 4th, parking lot opens at 10 am, food court opens at 2 pm; stadium opens at 6:30 pm, Opening ceremonies begin at 7, Program 7:25, Fireworks at 9:05 pm.

Palisades Americanism Parade
Old fashioned Independence Day Parade followed by entertainment and a fireworks display.
When: July 4th, Skydivers 1:50 pm, 2:00 parade, 6:30 pm entertainment, 9 pm fireworks
Where: Parade on Sunset Blvd. in Pacific Palisades between via de la Paz and Drummond St., Entertainment and fireworks at Palisades Charter High School.
Cost: Parade Free, reserved grandstand tickets for a fee, Concert $5

July 4th at Grand Park
One year after opening, Grand Park in the LA Civic Center is celebrating Independence Day with a four block block party. There won’t be full-sky fireworks, but a light show combining special effects with pyrotechnics. The Main stage and viewing area are located between Hill Street and Grand Avenue.
When: July 4, Music begins at 3 pm, light show at 9

4th of July BBQ at the Aquarium of the Pacific

The Queen Mary Independence Day celebration will be multi-era Tribute to Classic Americana through the Decade that time travels through the day beginning with a 1940s golden ara party from noon to 4 pm, followed by 60′s tribute bands, DJs spinning music of the 1970s, 80a and 90s, and after the fireworks the 2010s, including a patriotic movie screening. There will multiple DJ and live music stages, strolling entertainers and a children’s area, culminating in the spectacular 4th of July fireworks show. Special hotel rates are available.

Long Beach Kids’ July 4th Bike Parade
Children and adults are encouraged to decorate their bikes and themselves for this annual patriotic procession on wheels that takes place on the beach bike path in Long Beach. In addition to the bike parade, the event will include competitions for children 12 and younger, including a Patriotic Oratory Competition (advance submission required), watermelon seed spitting, and patriotic costume contest.
When: 9:15 registration to participate, 10 am parade, followed by competitions
