Hello music lovers! Live Music Week may have come and gone, but there are still plenty of great live acts playing in Boston this week:
Friday, November 1 – Neko Case @ The Orpheum Theatre
The woman or “Man” behind October’s WERS Album of the Month, The Worse Things Get…, wraps up her North American tour in Boston! Neko Case has made a name for herself both as a solo artist and as a member of the New Pornographers. With a brave voice and fearless songwriting, there’s little doubt she’ll end her tour with a bang when she plays the Orpheum Theatre this Friday.
Friday, November 1 and Saturday November 2 – The Head and the Heart w/ Thao & The Get Down Stay Down @ Royale
On October 15th The Head and the Heart followed up their 2011 self-titled debut with the release of Let’s Be Still. They’re continuing to go strong on the new album, as they have sold out two back-to-back shows at the Royale with Thao and The Get Down Stay Down. Now music lovers lucky enough to get a ticket will find out what made The Head and the Heart a perfect touring partner for such bands as Vampire Weekend and Iron & Wine.
